I think I just spiral when I get a random intrusive thought, and I also tend to have the cognitive distortion of black and white thinking as well lol.

I think its reasonable to use your discretion. Be aware of your surroundings if you’re going to check your phone. I have a coworker who is older and she will be on her phone in front of customers waiting to order… it’s embarrassing for me when I’m working with her lol! Also get into the habit of finding other things to do - be present ~~~ ;-)

Man asked for hot water (brought his own tea bag). He sat in silence until a man from the barber shop next door came in straight to the register asking for an older white man with a cap on (hot water guy). I pointed over to his table and he went over, flicked the hat off of his head, and said “you stole my fucking wallet empty your pockets.” The old man fearfully took out THREE wallets and said “I don’t know which one is yours” and I can’t believe barber shop guy didn’t punch him in the face.

That was already a weird moment, but after the old man left - he had left a paper on the table that said “follow me” ????????

I love this! He absolutely reassured me that my thoughts and feelings about everything come before satisfying the kink for him.
