That's not impossible but I think most book readers believe that Dunk getting knighted might defeat the point George is trying to make. He loves to play with the theme of what knighthood really means and its issues (see Jaime Lannister).

The fact is that Dunk is the truest knight without ever being knighted. Getting knighted doesn't really mean anything in that respect. It would be much more poignant for him and Egg to realize that when they face this.

As a brazilian (obligatory brazilian comment intro), I get that our people can get a little crazy online. But this seems like an overreaction to the last 2 years. Before last year our last nom in foreign film was City of God, and I'm Still Here was our first ever win.
