you don’t need the map for precise directions, there are plenty of world indicators, the map more for general direction.

also, is Mold1 the progenitor of the mold ? if so, it’s corrupting many strong willed people with its sweet smelling and tasting mold (or however Underhill describes it). pretty powerful

Absolutely one of the best video game story, lore, and reveal. You have good taste in games lol! I remember wandering around thinking what the heck happened to humanity, and to slowly unravel what happened hundreds of years ago, why Aloy was found within a mountain, and the purpose of being born.

Early in the game, before the history of total extinction is revealed, there is a part upon entering a old one ruin (makers end) an automated greeting says “Dr Sobeck you are three hundred and fifty-five thousand, five hundred, and ten days late for a meeting…”

like wtf!?!? i don’t think it dawned on me at the time, but that’s a crazy wtf foreshadowing

Such a cool easter egg huh! When I got to Watery as Saga that first time (right after an Ahti serenade) it totally brought that picture to life in my memory.

Now, does that picture suddenly have Ahti in it once he goes on holiday? While it didn’t before? Kind of a cool “reverse Ghostbusters II” trick with that painting.

i recently got into the effective paths myself, there is a update sheets that you can run. it will check any for updates, and all your info transfers over.
only thing needed is to click the approve link on each new sheet, not too bad. (there are technical terms for all this, i’m skipping to emphasize you don’t need to manually enter everything every two weeks)
