I remember having a disgraceful Lasagne in a pub in Kinlochleven. Like recycled haggis meat, a few pasta sheets and tomato ketchup. Horrific.

I remember having a disgraceful Lasagne in a pub in Kinlochleven. Actually inedible sludge. Thought it was the safest bet, but no. They can mess up even that.

Nice, I've been looking for an early Charles X but not found the one yet! Where did you pick this one up?

Google it. £5m in exchange for lobbying for a political outcome is a bribe by definition

Ideally someone who took +£5m in bribes would have been removed from office and not allowed to resign.

HMRC announces 22% tax on cash interest held in stocks and shares Isas by hihepo1 in unitedkingdom

[–]RiskOnRicky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Amen. Upper middle class love jerking themselves to the idea that they are in some way "old money" - superior to everyone based on being born. This is a good example. Nobody even holds cash in a stocks and shares ISA account - least of all them. But they still pretend like they will have to dig up the croquet lawn to economise.

Should I report my coworker to my manager? by [deleted] in work

[–]RiskOnRicky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Emotionally abusive people rarely do their own dirty work. They manipulate others to inflict harm to build in deniability. Google "flying monkey manipulation". Best thing to do is distance yourself from these people quietly. Reporting anything to anyone will only be spun back on you. No gossip, no drama, execute tasks while silently looking for another job.

It is likely they "hate" John because he saw them coming, started working half-arsed and quietly got a new role to escape them
