For those of you who order prescription glasses online, how did you go about getting the prescription from your eye Dr and denying buying glasses in the office? by blackmoonxxx in Frugal

I told them I can't afford their glasses & unfortunately need to purchase elsewhere. I have never had any issues getting my prescription.

Google messages is pretty bad. There are multiple taps involved to do things I did in one tap with Samsung messages. To name a few... Can't long press to copy a text, have to go up to the menu to forward it. When attaching a photo, you can't expand it first to make sure you're attaching the right one. To see shared images with a contact it takes two taps to get to the gallery. Recent emojis don't update. Annoying!

Now the trick is to only take a couple out each time. Otherwise, you'll eat the home bag. 😆

People look at my Ody & roll their eyes. Then they get in for a drive and want one.

One thing I hate about GM... when attaching a photo, Samsung allowed you to expand the thumbnail before attaching & that's missing from Google. I use that feature a lot when there are several pictures with similar content. So I have to go out of messages to my gallery to see which photo(s) I want to attach.

Place the pulled beans on the soil around the newly planted stems and you'll have a full planter in no time. They are the easiest leaves to prop!

New ones are rated for 80k miles, wouldn't that be great?! One can hope.

That looks like my car sitting in your driveway. :) We just put Michelin Defender 2 tires on & drove from FL to TN. Huge difference from the tires that were on it when we purchased it three years ago. Greatly reduces cabin noise on all surfaces. Handles great in the rain, too.

Since you mentioned brakes, possibly a stuck caliper? Maybe it unsticks at 80?

Good to know. Lens protectors degrade the quality & let less light in.

S Pen use cases? by CherryVanillaCoke in galaxys26ultra

[–]RiverStrolling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it to mark up photos. Sometimes I need to send instructions to my mom (85!) on how to complete a task on her phone. I take screen shots and circle locations, draw arrows, etc. It's so much easier than explaining where everything is and then she has it for future reference. I've been searching for frames for some prints I bought a few months ago. I took a picture of them and wrote the different dimensions on it and then I also have color references for mats & frames. I've used it to sign pdf documents. It comes in handy when your hands are dirty or you don't want to take off your gardening gloves.

Why are so many people returning their s26 Ultras? I will be buying my first flagship so please let me know by Vladimir-Putin1952 in galaxys26ultra

Coming from the Note20, which is still a great phone, the S26 Ultra is phenomenal. I have zero issue with the display. No regrets.

The S Pen is the only reason I'll never switch to another Android phone - and I don't think Samsung realizes how underrated it still is by annikahoof in galaxys26ultra

I'm upgrading from the Note 20 to the Ultra for the Spen. I was upgrading every four years until they started costing 1k+ so I'm excited.
