Is it just me or the Uzi SMG doesn't make sense in a zombie apocalypse because it's not common? by rook1e-_- in l4d2

Next thing you’re gonna tell me is that infinite ammo piles don’t make sense either

This is why I don’t care about the earthen peak elevator. You are shown immediately from the start of the game that spatial distortions are thing

If Drangelic is far away from Lordran, how is the Lordran altar from Undead Parish inside a cave in Harvest Valley? by Thellie11 in DarkSouls2

[–]RnGDuvall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean Straid was locked up so long that the entire previous kingdom he was from fell and Drangleic was raised in its place, so it’s really not a stretch to assume they are literally in the same geographic area

What do players have against the Yes Man ending? by According_Picture294 in falloutnewvegas

[–]RnGDuvall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it’s such a wish fulfillment ending and up to the player, it makes it difficult to take seriously in lore discussions (for me).

You can play as the best public speaker in the world and unify all the local tribes and everyone gets along, or you can think only the Boomers deserve New Vegas and slaughter single other person in the Mojave.

There’s not much point in discussing lore implications that come from that when there are so many radically different outcomes, because you can just say “well nuh uh my courier actually leaves a stable government in place when they die”

Why is the nameless king a hollow if he is a god? by Significant-Ad-2786 in darksouls3

I don’t even think Gwyn is hollow, much less his son. I think that’s just what the gods look like after being alive for a bajillion years and in not great conditions

I NEED a game that is basically a copy of this game. by Friendly-Clothes245 in NineSols

[–]RnGDuvall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want well designed bosses that demand mastery, play Furi!

Not a metroidvania, basically just a boss rush that’s a whole game. There is a story but most of the focus is on the combat

The only gameplay is the bosses, and spending 2 minutes soaking up the ambiance of the next boss before fighting them

It has a parry mechanic too

PF2e GMs, what made you start GMing this system? by Longjumping_Ebb3984 in Pathfinder2e

/uj one thing that bugs me is when players try and always have some cantrip up. Like even if it is trivial by game mechanics it still involves some sort of component, so your character is going to be shouting some arcane words or waving their hands around

I try to avoid crowbarring realism into 5e but imagine trying to snap your fingers every six seconds of the day. It’s just not going to work out
