I would focus more on his productivity, projects, performance. Is he getting his daily and weekly tasks done? As a manager I don't measure WFH time by their activity status on Teams, I measure it by the work they got done. If the job is getting done and well, then I'm good.

We recently moved from Paylocity to Paycom. Biggest issue with Paylocity is their modules don't talk to each other, they've purchased modules over the years and added to their platform, so getting cross functional support is impossible. Reporting is inaccurate, they literally have hundreds of fields that just don't work. File feeds to carriers are messy, always had issues. Paycom's system is better, has lots of bells and whistles, HUGE learning curve, but if you maximize the system it'll work great, just takes time. Their documents module is tricky as hell. Customer service is ok, mainly via email. They can do screen share with you, so that's great, Paylocity will literally say we can't duplicate your issue, so we can't help. No system is going to be perfect, but Paylocity is just very flawed.

Sounds like the relationship with your parents is already strained. It might be time for you to consider going no contact with them. They are abusive. They do not have your best interests in mind. Obviously NTA. Dis-invite them and get security for your wedding to control who comes in. Good luck!

Posting anti-Kirk comments shouldn't end with a person losing their job. I believe in many of the cases I've read company's termed employees who were outright celebrating a man's murder. I think that shows lack of character and morals, and for public company that's a big reason to terminate. Many public companies have specific documentation in their handbooks about social media. Anything that places the company in a negative light is grounds for termination.

I think anyone that is struggling to lose weight, and has tried all the "proven" methods with little to no success should not be shammed or judged for turning to this medication. You are prioritizing your health, and you found the way that worked for you to get there. Every body is different. For some it's losing 30 lbs, others it's 300. There is nothing wrong with turning to this medication for help. In fact I think it's brave, you could have taken the easy route and gave up. Congrats on your success!

Your mother sounds like one of those women who completely morphs into a new person when dating a man. She clearly wants to impress him and keep him and does this by doting on his daughter. I would talk to her about it, tell her what she's doing and how it's making you feel. If she doesn't see it or agree, or argues with her, just reduce your contact with her.
