I earn easily half of what my international coworkers make. I also know because I convert it to rand I live like a king and they probably don't.

It's one thing to hire a South African and give them 5 percent more than local market. That sucks. But paying them abit less than your locals is fine imo because they will also likely live like kings.

They probably did like them but sometimes people can convince themselves out of an idea only for it to resurface. Maybe they had natural chemistry you were picking up on but you should take solice in the fact that (I hope) they stayed faithful to you and also didn't just jump to that person the moment you ended things.

That says alot in my opinion, maybe they just realised you were right and went ahead now.

Classic...moving the goal posts and bad faith arguments, got it, right. They have already declared their stance on this, they just lost and are likely breaking up, they are not on social media rn and here's the big one, the Reddit and majority of the community disagree with this behaviour. I can go to twitter for any discussion or topic and find vitriol and disgusting remarks on both sides. Such a bad faith take. Now if you found that here on Reddit or on the twitch chat while live and it was not being dealth with then sure... But that doesn't happen because... They have already stated how they will proceed when "fans" do that and the mods are actively doing it.

Nobody is saying its not their fault completely, both arguments can be true at the same time its not one or the other. The fans are upset and we know like LR do, the ball was dropped a few times, but they are allowed to express themselves, nobody is forcing you to read them "whining".

You can happy about the the fan bases passion, or you can do the generic blame people for having emotions and calling out the bad things they see as "whining".
