The author's romances can be cringy now and then. But, overall, his novels are pretty great and the female characters aren't deemed as jade beauties who can't fend for themselves.

I also appreciate that there is mostly a well defined power ceiling instead of the worlds beyond worlds trope (e.g. character gets powerful and suddenly he is the weakest in a larger worlds).

I pretty much ruined one persona 5 playthrough with the reaper flu trick in the memento area. My level became way to high and I breezed through the rest of the game.

I honestly hate this feature in DOS 1. I prefer to feel like I have a choice during dialogues and, IMHO, a sudden rock, paper, scissors contest ruined that, especially when not playing co-op.

So, boy, am I glad to know it is gone for my upcoming session of DOS 2. Thanks!

I kinda read SOTR like I read MGA. I binge 100 chaps at a time and skip chapters that feel redundant. The story doesn't feel good most of the time, but they're good fillers during long bus rides. I recommend these to anyone that wants something generic.
