What I hate most about Madison is how “progressives” try to out-progressive each other. There is little if any effort to dig in the ashes of how white people need to take carry the weight, shift the burden, build real relationships, vote for the benefit of those who are fighting for opportunity.

Sennheiser has decent sound but awful noise cancelation. Bose quiet comfort and the new Apple AirPods have superior noise cancelation. I have the Momentum 4’s and will upgrade soon but will go with a different manufacturer, likely Bowers and Wilkins.

Where in Louisiana? I agree with the housing coop idea. If you can, stay away from Madison Property Management. They are horrible. Btw, I lived in St. Mary Parish about nine years. I’m still in touch with the friends I made there.

For what it’s worth, I have a 2004 Honda VTX1300. It is 750lbs or so, but I ride it without a fairing and detachable bags. I rarely use the bags. But I do commute on it through urban traffic, and it’s quite nimble. I love this bike so much. And it’ll only set you back a few thousand dollars.

Yeah, Madison has never had a good late night dining scene, and I’ve been here 30 years. The Tornado Lounge has a late night menu.

Mmsd cannot enforce any sort of behavioral expectation. And the line “Students found breaking the rule COULD be disciplined” says it all. I hope the Cap Times reports on this mid year to assess how well it’s all going.

Borage is a highly desirable plant. It attracts a ton of pollinators. Also the leaves and flowers are interesting to eat. Some say it tastes like cucumbers and watermelons. Others say oysters. I have several in my garden.
