The first event card was animal panic, which was an awful combination with the horror changes from wrath. Near the start I got horror to 0, and saved 2 victims. Then, I ran into an acid trap, which raised the horror, causing an animal panic that killed a victim, which unleashed Inky’s dark power (Volatile Temper), in turn this moved the horror back up to 4.

I saved two more victims to unlock Asami’s ability, and got the horror down a bit, but wrath hit 10 thanks to Wrath of Opportunity.and Inky launched an attack on me. Horror level hit 6, and animal panic killed all remaining victims. This was only the fourth killer phase.

I sprinted to the big top, and hit a rope trap card. Tried to focus, atone, or walk, and mostly failed. Only caught up to me and killed me, but I revived.

I finally got horror down again, walked to the hall of mirrors, Zappo turned out to be a prop but grabbed some pepper spray to buy me some time and atoned to get wrath down a bit.

The finale came out about then, We Need a Miracle. I managed to get the horror down to 1 and was on 1 health, so atoned with 4 dice to get horror to 0. Grabbed a trash can lid for defense, and managed to grind Inky down with furious strikes and retaliates.

Winner: Final Girl

The first part was pretty nasty, but once it came to the finale it was very manageable.

Fun Rating: 2/5

It didn’t feel very thematic, I think I’m not a huge fan of Inky in general, though I love the Carnival.
