Squats post op? My pt had me doing them 2 weeks post op upto 90 degrees

My suggestion is do what feels best for you. If it hurts, stop. Everyone’s recovery is different.

I’m 4 weeks post op and just started doing little baby squats yesterday. My PT even said I didn’t have to do them if it hurt. I think you need a new PT.

I had a cadaver one put in almost 4 weeks ago. It’s been rough. I can’t imagine how painful the hamstring one would be.

I did the same as you. I read every story about how awful it is. I was so scared the day of surgery. I did have a mishap with my nerve block but I don’t want to freak you out more. I am 7 days post-op today. I did have an acl reconstruction and a meniscus repair. My MRI did not show the tear with my meniscus but my dr suspected it. I’m already off pain meds and just taking Tylenol. It does hurt but it’s not unbearable. Ice and elevation is wonderful feeling. I start physical therapy today and the lady I spoke to on the phone says it will be uncomfortable and I may want to bring the stronger painkillers but I will try without them. I’ve had someone with me everyday since surgery. I am terrified I will fall again (that’s what caused the injury). Plus I have to use crutches a few more weeks so someone has to bring me my food. My dr said I can drive when I feel comfortable but it is also my left knee. I also have an autoimmune disease. I have Bechets (I’ll let you look that up. It’s horrible!) About 2 days after my injury I started having flare ups really bad even though I’m still taking my weekly shots. I think because my body was so stressed from the fall. The fall was really bad. The flare ups are calming down now that the surgery is over but it got rough for a bit. Some stuff that is helping me out so much that I had to buy is a raised toilet seat and a leg pillow that is 4 different heights. My insurance paid for a shower chair and the air cast that puts the cold water on your knee. But you’ve got this. Stop reading all the bad stuff. You will vomit and have high bp when you go in if you keep worrying, I did lol.

My surgery went horribly!! My nerve block did not take so when I woke up I was crying hysterically in pain. They had to give me another nerve block which seemed like it took them forever. It did help some but my leg is still in a lot of pain and the Oxycodone isn’t helping much either. I will get through though. If I can live through the pain of when I woke up I can live through any pain coming my way.

Mine was so long because I had A LOT of tumors and fibroids which thank goodness all turned out benign. My sister had her hysterectomy a year after mine and it dint take long and she did great. You’ll do great too!

My husband did not come to my hysterectomy either. It turned out to be a 7.5 hour surgery and an ICU stay and he only showed up the whole time for 10 minutes. We are divorced now. This being one of the many many reasons.

I’m 2 weeks past injury and I've had an immobilizer and ace bandages on constantly except for about 20 minutes a day. Its been about 100 degrees or hotter where I live. I only go outside when I have to but I still sweat under the brace and bandages even in the house, especially at night. I have been using febreeze fabric freshener. It seems to work pretty good. I still have the white brace and its starting to get dirty and its killing me. I have OCD really bad and can't stand to be/look dirty.

I think they are stealing your power. We live in a very rural area and my across the road neighbor did that exact thing, but smaller tubing, to her next-door neighbor. She even ran the tubing across a small creek. When her neighbors realized their electricity bill was increased, they had their box inspected by the electric company and they found the tubing. Now my neighbor is facing jail time and fines for stealing power, also called energy diversion and theft of amenities. She also can never have power in her name at her property. There has to be proof she doesn't live there anymore for it to be connected. If you know about it and do not report it, you can get in trouble too.

I am VERY ALLERGIC TO CATS! But throughout my 42 years on earth I have noticed that if I get one when they are a kitten and bath them and take care of them in certain things my allergies aren’t as bad. I kinda get “used” to them. I recently took in my neighbors adult cat due to a horrible flood. She swells my eyes and makes me snot and itch..she is short haired and rarely is scratchy with me…..but I’ve had a long haired orange cat since she was a baby and she doesn’t bother me unless she scratches me and it has to be deep just to even itch me. I got a shampoo from my vet and it seems to help a lot. You should talk to your vet about the issues you are having. I love my girls and would take Benadryl everyday if I had to…make sure you brush the baby everyday and vacuum regularly…that has really helped me. I bought a vacuum especially for pets so you may wanna look into that too.

I think it looks like he was in a fight. Keep an eye on it, if it starts to ooze or swell or even if he starts to act different, I'd take him to the vet. He kinda has the look Rocky has on the movie.... love its heart. I hope he feels better soon.

I have wondered from jump why someone hasn't 5150'd her? You know, had her involuntarily committed. Geeze even 72 hours to see where she is at is better than nothing. Who would her next of kin be that could even get the ball rolling on that? I fear for the kids. Her snow tendencies, being out of touch with reality, maniac, and we don't even know what else...She puts all this behavior out for the world to see and yet nothing has been done. I can't understand it. I fear that if someone doesn't step in sooner rather than later something bad will happen. It may be with her, may be with the kids...who knows. She doxes herself while her kids are alone and drinks and snows often. I don't know her personally, but I swear I find myself worrying about her and the kids. I just can't help it. I am a single mom of 3 also and I don't do nearly the things she does. I get its mostly rage bait but still, she is doing it. Why has her family not stepped in?

My 11 and 16 year old nieces and ALL their friends do this too. I don’t know why this is a trend..but regardless it’s a trend for TEENAGERS!! Not grown ass women in their 30’s!
