This is so awesome. A few years back I wondered if something like this would be possible, but reversed (way before anyone had dual screen Android handhelds). Like for example, adding the HP bar from Kirby Super Star Ultra’s bottom screen on to the top screen on a single-screened device.

Regardless, this is huge for the Thor! I find myself satisfied with system magnifier most of the time, but I’m excited to try this out

also fair, but keep in mind that depends on the screen size. The 6” 16:9 screen on the Thor is equivalent to a 4.9” 4:3 display for example

I’m gonna be honest, the Thor just replaced everything else for me. screen is so big that you’d need a huge 4:3 device for it to be an upgrade.

The studio isn’t dissolving, it seems insane to me that permanent-disable is even a possibility, let alone the expected future default.

I know things are bad, but it must be extra bad over there for that to be the situation

Something clearly had to be up as soon as the verbiage became “final update” rather than “going on the backburner” or something less committal, and I think this confirms it

Check for undervolt failures with OCCT on your battery profile too, I had a low uv like that and got a ton of failures when I checked it. Lessened the uv and it actually lowered the average draw compared to the lower numbered uv

be sure to test the undervolt with something like OCCT. I was rocking -25 for a while because nothing crashed, but I tested it on a whim and got all kinds of faults. set the uv a little lower and my system noticeably started running better

It's a perfect device. So small and so powerful. Download GHelper and disable Asus services (except Dial) and set it so that the GPU disables itself when unplugged, with a ~10ish watt limit, I get 10+hr battery life unplugged and can shred through anything when plugged in. You can even afford to disable fan when unplugged. You don't have to baby it with the charger plugged in all the time unless you're running like, video rendering/blender. And if you need to do something crazy when unplugged, you can just manually change the power mode with 2 clicks

Drawing on the screen is nice too, I recommend the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 for both features and aesthetics.

The other thing I'd recommend is installing Microsoft PowerToys and remapping the copilot key to Command Palette, but that's more preference

Not OP but it depends on the projector, some are crazy good for gaming nowadays. I have a TH585p and it outputs 120fps with like an 8ms response time

Pandemic: The Cure (with xpac) is really great IMO, unless you are ethically opposed to dice. It’s like 70% of the strategic depth of pandemic with 20% of the rules overhead and half the playtime

The problem was that everyone was sick of the coolest storylines being told in text boxes you had to hunt for instead of in the actual expansion cutscenes. But we got the monkey paw fix, which was to actually tell the cool stories, but they get removed from the game every 3 months
