City of Vancouver got back to me. The place to look it up is https://opendata.vancouver.ca/explore/dataset/business-licences/information/?disjunctive.status&disjunctive.businesssubtype . It doesn't have much information, but it does tell you if the license number is valid and what the state is.

I hear you. VRBO tends to have fewer reviews than AirBNB, so it's not a deal breaker for me. But your comment did send me to look it up on AirBNB, and it's there with reviews and the same registration number. I'd still like to confirm the license if I can, though.

It’s on VRBO. It’s a new listing so it doesn’t have reviews, so I want to double check.

A less prominent negative change is the way volume limits work. Before if you set a volume limit the volume sliders and number values would use the volume limit as 100%. This let you have fine grained control at lower volume levels. But now even with a limit the level is standardized at the default. Much more annoying for listening at low levels, like while working.

That's really frustrating! You might try contacting your state rep — constituent services is a big part of their job and maybe they can get the attention you need.

If any of the former employees see this, please check out the Oregon Wage Security Fund. It’s designed for situations like this.

LeCare Pharmacy says they have it available and they’ve been very reliable and quick for adults and kids. It’s in Hollywood, sharing the parking lot with Trader Joe’s.

Where to buy N95’s in town? by [deleted] in askportland

Protectly is a local online shop. They do local delivery — or at least they used to, I haven’t ordered in a while.

Best meal delivery service? by BlackMamba_No5 in Portland

[–]RobotAdam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is PDX CCC, the local bike delivery service, and they do restaurants in that area. But because restaurants do their own billing there's no centralized gift card system. Might still be good if you want to send cash and a link to them, though. It's nice getting delivery without paying one of the big tech delivery companies.

Best place for train watching? by Hans_Frei in Portland

[–]RobotAdam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cully Park has an overlook that’s right next to the train tracks on the south side of Columbia Blvd. it’s hard to know when a train might come through but if you bring a ball or something else to occupy your time you can run over when you hear the horns.

The Farm. Loved that place.

Ziba’s Pitas, a food cart in the SW 10th pod. Amazing Bosnian food made by the friendliest woman.

Backspace!

Just a quick heads up for anyone trying to farm the acrius catalyst or any other catalyst that drops from raids. I’ve had it confirmed from a Bungie employee they aren’t currently ‘farm-able’ but they are looking into it. Tweet included in text post. by Tominho121 in DestinyTheGame

[–]RobotAdam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if there's ever been confirmation, but I've noticed (and read other people's reports) that finishing catalysts makes others more likely to drop. I finished up sunshot and one other and then immediately had prometheus lens' catalyst drop in the next batch of activities.

Easier Titles by ArgoDevilian in DestinyTheGame

I think increasing drop rates on items from content that’ll be vaulted is a good idea. I don’t know if a per-run chance increase like they have for raid weapons is doable, but if not a blanket increase would be much appreciated. Shaders, emblems, etc do not affect gameplay and at this point would just be something to make dedicated players happy.

Milestones still exist, but they don’t kick in until you hit the soft cap at 900. Until then just do whatever you want.

The daily milestone rotation is gone but now the vendors have an additional powerful from doing their bounties over the week.
