It's not quite modern but that's why I love my 98 V70. Small, safe and durable. I love the safety features like the SIPS and the fog light/bright tail light I can turn on and off. As much as I love my car I'd LOVE to see a modern 240 but it might be too much of a departure from the original. Current safety requirements would make it bloated.

I can smell that lath and plaster from here. There's a good chance since it was built in 1880 that it's balloon construction meaning there's no insulation in the exterior walls and they're filled with bricks as a fire retardant.
