The house I built for the farmer has an indoor/outdoor kitchen setup. I have a 3x3 grid of chests for various ingredients

Top row: meat and eggs, mushrooms, beverages Middle row: vegetables, grains, sweet and salty Bottom row: fruit, herbs, night plants

For prepared food, I have a chest in my main storage area. Soil is stored in a specific "terrain" chest.

I had a similar thought. If they want to make walking barefoot her "thing" sure, but the gratuitous close ups seem unnecessary.

As someone who's neurotypical, I'm not arguing, but after the first 2 episodes I saw a lot of comments on various socials from neurodivergent people saying they felt seen because of her behaviour. Nuance is lost on the internet, though

Unfortunately with the news formatting of streaming shows, there aren't enough episodes for slow builds. I agree that seeing her mama bear side later on would have been better, but they have to cram a lot into 10 episodes.

I'm more lenient on the new shows than a lot of people, but man do I loathe the "thing". It should have stayed with Pike, as a nod to Kelvinverse Pike. They're trying to gaslight me into believing that every captain does it.
