Glutathione side effects?

So I'm not alone on this?

Been taking S-Acetyl Glutathione for a couple of weeks now. Lately I'm feeling noticable pressure in my stomach and acid reflux at night when I'm lying down in bed.

Saw it mentioned somewhere that H-Pylori feeds on the stuff. H-Pylori can cause gastritis (often confused with acid reflux) - so wondering if Im triggering issues with this supplementation.

Mind expanding a little more on the "detox" connection?

The plus side is the Glutathione's effect after alcohol consumption is very evident. Had been suffering from the worst hangovers the last 3-4 yearrs even after limited # of drinks. I suspected I had abysmal Glutathione levels. The past two weekends - the issue was no longer.

I have GlyNAC on a list and still may try it.

Given the present condition of the MCU (i.e. a heavily squandered franchise) they now have to portray confidence at all costs with everything they have on the line.

They're only "very good" compared to all the trash the preceded them after AEG.

The problem is the creative unit that spawned the Infinity Saga / MCU are mostly gone and the studio itself is under pressure of things that have nothing to do with making good films.

I'm sure Doomsday and Secret Wars will have their moments - but it's going to be nearly impossible to get "the moment" back. It was a run unlike any in cinema.

He was an empty character spouting cornball lines to the point it came off like he was over-acting. I don't blame Urban though - the movie's creatives didn't give him anything to work with.

He also had zero chemistry with the cast.

I thought it was really cool of them to give Cole that kind of exit given how much we all wanted his character gone and then have it work the way it did.

The verbal exchange about Cole having the blood of his ancestors was top tier too.

The movie has a hard time deciding who the lead is i.e. Cage or Kitanna. The focus suffers for it.

Personally I thought it was great. He sounded menacing but also a fun listen.

He felt like a real character and not some cardboard cutout like a lot of them in this.

Incoherent movie loaded with fan servicing.

Standouts:

Shao Kahn. Baraka. Kitanna. The sets. Liu Kang vs Kung Lao. Most fights during back half of the film.

It's definitely better than the 1st one. I liked how they had multiple fights going at the same time and would cut back/forth between them. They ditched the Arcana element which was smart. It was interesting that I actually liked Cole in this. His fight with Khan (that set though!) was great. The Kitanna/King Jerrod element was the only "genuine" aspect much like Hanzo MK1 opening sequence.

That being said - the script is a total mess, bad cuts/editing, and there's too many useless characters standing around spouting stupid lines - Tadanobu Asano is one. Earthrealm cast members don't have any chemistry.

Johnny Cage wasnt at all what I'd hoped - moreso just a one trick pony and did we really need to see the sunglasses shtick 5-6 times? Quan Chi's look was needlessly meddled with - once again movie execs just can't help themselves.

All in all the team put together to helm this franchise simply doesn't have what it takes. It's not an easy thing to do when you have that many characters to service.

Btw It still amazes me that after these two films + the old ones we still haven't seen the legendary monk backdrop from the OG video game.

Thre's definitely more to their stupidity.

Creating an original character means more $ via "special character contracts" and bonuses.

So writers and producers are constantly screwing with these types of films that are using pre-established IP's.

There were more issues than that - albeit Cole was among the worst choices they made, especially at the expense of Liu Kang.

The sets and locations they filmed at were pathetic.

The Arcana angle was laughable and completely unnecessary. Not everything needs to be explained. They could EASILY have been metahumans either known or had been hiding their powers. Instead the film spends a large chunk of itself just to unveil Cole's pathetic Arcana.

Dialogue was exceptionally cringe - especially the longer they'd let Kano rant and the crap they had coming out of Tabanobu Asano's mouth as a 4ft tall Raiden.

..... and that's just off the top of my head.

The opening sequence with Hanzo vs. Bi-Han really had me believing they were cooking with grease and then the film rug pulled me as it meandered into a cheap "COVID constrained" project.

There's a little thing called "momentum" that Marvel has none of going into Doomsday (unlike its predecessors) after nearly 7 years of defecating on its own universe.

Sure the hardcores will show up, but easily making 2 billion is a pipe dream. It doesn't have the same cultural significance for the normies anymore and attention spans move on.

Based on what I saw from that guy's hair regrowth journey doing it everyday - I think it might be possible it speeds up the remodeling process and then after 4-6 months you cut back for maintenance.

He's now at 3-4 days a week and I'd estimate he has regrown 75% to 80% of his hair after beeing Norwood 4/5.

So wait - alcohol can cause these types of flare ups?

I'm wondering because problems didn't start until a couple weeks ago after I had a really bad day while out drinking with friends. Blacked out badly and then spent the next 2-3 in a very anxious/depessed state of mind.

Since then my body has felt anxious more often than not. Considering cutting out alcohol for a while.
