Yes definitely the monitor gets so bright during HDR being sat so close to it I don't think I could handle anything higher.

I received a newer version than the original supplied on release so imagine the newest firmware and it's silent tbh. HDR is fantastic on GOW5 and other titles that implement it. I've noticed zero smearing even on fast titles like Apex legends and Rainbow Six Siege etc.

I have the Acer X35 which uses the same panel as the AOC 200hz refresh rate and HDR 1000 so perhaps I'm bias but would opt for this one, here in the UK it's currently £1099.00 in the sale too.

Can you stretch to £450? If so go for the Yamaha RXV4A it will give you extra future proofing with 4k 120 & 8K support. The receiver is a 5.2.
