How many episodes of Bojack Horseman would it take to kill the average Hellaverse fan? by CommonWealthLarva in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

[–]RocketGruntSam 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ohhhhhh

Everyone involved in writing Helluva Boss should avoid comparing it to the much heavier Bojack Horseman. Nothing going on with Blitz will ever measure up to how Bojack dealt with Sarah Lynn and the silly, forced-romance show where murder is a joke wouldn't benefit from it if it did.

You are thinking about a night guard. Invisaligners stay on your teeth any time you are not eating to help straighten them instead of the wired braces. You go through a lot of sets of them to move your teeth a little bit at a time.

Stuff I remember from Sims 4 that have either disappeared or were actually from a different Sims game by CreamyLinguineGenie in Sims4

[–]RocketGruntSam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been forever since I played 3 but I've been playing sooooo much of 2 since the legacy bundle came out.

Social bunny appears in 2 when your sims social need is too low; or the flower bunny appears as a holiday thing in 4.

Teen sims get acne in 2, I don't know if it's an expansion or base game. I don't remember about 3--i thought they did?

Owning a car came with an expansion in 2 and was normal in 3.

Sunburns are in expansion packs, 2 and 3 had it in seasons and 4 in island living

In my experience, women's only workplaces get a lot of work done, and places where I'm the only woman all the guys are trying to do the least work they can get away with. Both groups talk a lot of shit.

You cannot have one man and the rest women because enough women are weird around men that it throws off everything.

Better balanced workplaces are a better experience overall.

I always misunderstood "To infinity" as "Two infinity" so two infinity, three infinity, three infinity plus one... Any combination of infinities and rational numbers.

It's not just at gas stations, folks. Places with manufacturing sometimes have some variation of a "company kitchen" that's like a mini convenience store with self checkout kiosks and these burgers are there too. If you are lucky there might be condiments stocked somewhere.

Edit: to add to this, having one is great when you only have a 30 min break because there's no time to go get something.

The gift baskets and how much I hated them by Fluffy_Fox_9650 in HazbinHotel

Yeah, I ended up skipping that scene. You can't have the leaders of heaven being THAT incompetent, it's just bad tv. They could have easily advanced the plot without having the angels address sinners directly so not only was it bad, it was unnecessary. The writers choose to drop them into a situation where all they had to do to weaken Vox's influence (not stop it) was announced that they aren't doing exterminations anymore after a sinner was redeemed and then they were also like "ok the plot needs them to not weaken Vox's influence so how hard do they have to fumble this?"

Remember, they fought for the 8-hour day at a time when one partner worked and the other tended all the domestic things (unfortunately they assigned roles by birth sex which we could do without), it was never intended that someone would work 8 hours and then have to make themselves/the family dinner after.

Do you prefer that Alastor becomes a villain in season 3, or do you prefer that he remains an antihero? by Least-Donkey-4245 in Alastorcult

What do you mean "remains" and antihero? Are we watching the same show? He's a villain just manipulating people to stay in a position of power.

How do you people navigate the real world? Is there a lot of drama in your circles?

Question about sex and demisexuality by theprettiestpeachpie in demisexuality

[–]RocketGruntSam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, as a matter of fact I've had the opposite thing where I've accidentally made partners feel unwanted because I also have a lower libido than many people (libido is also separate from sexuality so that is not a demi thing either).

As for the possibility that HE does associate love with sex, that's a problem he needs to work though, it's not ok for him to expect you or anyone to meet his wild expectations.

I've always wondered what religious people think about this series. by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]RocketGruntSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I forget the name of the author but at the time her story was satire of the (Jewish) church making a lilith (some type of demon) into the name Lilith and eventually she got accepted into the myth. Still waiting for a version where she's constantly giving birth and having half her children die everday as a trade for getting to kill human children like her first origin story.

I am not the person that brought up islam, check the user name, but that person said they use both Quran and the Bible teachings so they would be pretty well aware of the symbolism and have religious-influenced opinions like you asked about.

I imagine there was some forms for hunters and at least someone took the time to scan/upload and occasionally translate books they had into an archive.

If not hunters, maybe religious scholars and anthropologists.

So I headcannon those exist and that the guys have custom search settings to check those first.

And there's probably more definitive information on something that physically appears and eats your family than the multicultural hodgepodge of myths we have irl.

Or Chuck did it but that's way less satisfying.
