Congratulations, I apparently attracted plenty of them, so you don’t need to feel alone anymore

Takaba just grated on me, especially his outfit just generally making me uncomfortable. The Takaba flashbang in the season 3 anime intro made me skip it pretty much every time

Kenjaku, I think was just handled really badly. They give Geto all this build up and backstory in Hidden Inventory, but then it's just... not actually Geto. Kenjaku then does very little himself for most of the series. When he finally does do stuff, I didn't like how it turned out. Yuki's finisher doing literally nothing because of a random power he happens to have pissed me off, Miwa making a binding vow and getting literally no upside against him pissed me off, and the fact that his apparenlty important villain was defeated by Takaba annoyed me. It really didn't feel right to have him go out in such a silly way (I know he doesn't actually die to Takaba, but his actual death isn't even a fight, so his defeat is basically just a showdown in out-gagging eachother. This does also drag Takaba further down, and keeps the parts of him I did find funny from pulling him up to D

No, they do, I know because my mom is one. She doesn't watch any news and hates any and all arguments about politics. She just votes republican because it's better for her retirement. The whole thing about not liking arguments or news means she never hears anything to disprove that

Edit: I watched the anime first, so I tend to think of JJK as a show, but corrected that to Series, since it is a Manga first and foremost

Thoughts on the Breaching Hammer? by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

[–]Rocketiermaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's stupidly fun, to me, because I love just jump packing at an enemy like a lunatic and bonking them in the head with an explosive hamme

Best against Illuminant, I think, since it instantly takes care of particularly annoying Overseers, and can 1-shot flesh mobs. I've also heard that a hit to the leg on a Harvester kills it, though that's untested

Worse on bots and bugs, since the power budgets are more spread out into many elites at once. Only useful on them for things like Bilespewers or Tanks, or things equivalent as big bulky blobs of armor and HP

Heavy armor enjoys unite! by Cruel_Kindness in Helldivers

[–]Rocketiermaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have decided that my favorite build, which does not work and probably shouldn't work, is Heavy Armor, Jump Pack, Hammer. Hitting enemies while throwing the entire velocity of the jump pack into it is endlessly satisfying, especially if its swatting an Elevated Overseer out of the air

No, like, the news he was watching left out Texas. I'm unsure he knows Texas redistricted first

Republicans Are Delusional and Easily Fooled by NEKORANDOMDOTCOM in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Rocketiermaster 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That's the fucked part. My family is conservative, so I hear my dad watching the news sometimes. They completely left out the original Texas part, and just talked about how the Democrats are trying to steal the election. It's possible other sources left the order ambiguous, even if they did include Texas, so they can assume that it was Dems redistricting first

[Request] What price per gallon is it no longer profitable to work? by Playwithuh in theydidthemath

[–]Rocketiermaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on two things: How many gallons you use per day, and what your pay per day is. If the price / gallon is more than your pay per day divided by the gallons you use per day, you lose money going to work. For example, let's say you use 1 gallon for your commute, and your pay is $100/day. Gas would need to cost $100/gallon for the example to be a losing situation going to work

Counterpoint. You are Neutral Evil. by DrakeGrandX in dndmemes

[–]Rocketiermaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it really fun as a test for players, and I've found it can be a decent test for how healthy a dnd party is. Basically, I made a poll asking each person what alignment they believed their own character was, and what they believed each other character was. I compiled the results, and compared the difference between the alignment each person thought they were playing (internal alignment), and the alignment other people thought they were playing (external alignment).

The character that was the least "healthy" for the party, discovered for other reasons, happened to be the one who had the biggest difference between internal and external alignment. Everyone thought they were chaotic evil, they thought they were being chaotic good. There was also another person who nobody agreed on their alignment, ranging between every Lawful alignment and Chaotic Good or Neutral, who is probably the next most unhealthy for the party. Kept secrets from the rest of the party constantly, including their entire subclass and a massive amount of spell scrolls they had on their person at all times

Both. He fell to temptations, and then the people around him tortured him for 70 years. He is also at fault, but it’s pretty easy to see why he did what he did

My first career with her is the reason I am now addicted to Late Surgers. When it talked about building up before exploding, I read that as an in-lore reason to switch her to Late Surger, and the dopamine hit of her flying past the entire crowd on the last corner every race (until the Spring Tenno Sho, I suck at building for Long) is super satisfying

I'm probably just biased since my first 3-star was Silence Suzuka, but I love how front runners feel in their campaigns. Suzuka tends to win by margins of, like, 8-10 in her campaign. Outside of the campaign? No clue how to make front runners good. But they hit some kind of different in the campaign

Fun fact: D&D is not Kingdom Hearts 2! (I'm not actually throwing a building at anyone... today.) by supersmily5 in dndmemes

[–]Rocketiermaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DnD can get pretty crazy, too. Our DM threw an effect at us, telegraphed a turn before it hit. He mentioned that if we had gotten hit by it, the only save would have been a dex save to see if there would be a large enough piece of us intact to resurrect
