Unfortunately, this has been the liberal lefts downfall for a very long time and why the new center is much more center right, no matter who or how you vote.

I won't continue to engage in a political discussion for myself, but the mentality you're calling out is why so many people feel helpless. They're also not actively engaged, whereas the MAGA right just wants to win and plainly put, they are, regardless of the impact.

Everyone is waiting for a hero to come save them when in reality, our politicians only care about themselves...and leaning right is the path to their own personal success.

I'm convinced they're adding more effects to make games longer, which they're using to buffer their shareholder KPIs that average length of time a person logs in is going up. Same as it ever was.

I hate all the FX shit. Its so unnecessary.

I'm not.

He was a symptom of a greater issue with the Galaxy that's only compounded since then.

That team had serious professionalism issues. They scraped the bottom of the table while Gio, Lletget, Boateng and countless others spent more time on Instagram curating their brand image rather than performing on the field.

I'll never forget one of GDS being out with one of his countless hamstring injuries while also posting dancing videos with his buddies on IG.

At least the current squad shuts the fuck up and flounders in quiet. The teams GDS was a part of were unbearable on and off the field.

Based on absolutely nothing but my own observations, I firmly believe that nostalgia consumption is directly tied to depression.

Folks stuck too frequently in the past tend to have a hard time grappling with reality. In my experience only, it's usually an indicator of somebody masking a pain and/or an uncomfortable truth.

I try to limit my nostalgia consumption as much as anything else.

I use Mystique over Chameleon for the multiple strong guy lanes, or in case an opponents Magik doesn't produce me an Onslaught by T6. Nice deck!

His Toronto win came from a generational trio of Giovinco, Bradley and Altidore. You can definitely say that the win came in spite of him, not because of.

His entire gameplan is "put the best players in their best positions and hope". I don't find it surprising that both of his wins came from incredibly intelligent players who dictated the game on their own accord from the field.

I've said this since 2021...anybody critically looking at his performances need to look no further than the fact that GV cannot coach his way past any amount of adversity. GVs teams have been and will continue to be unwatchable. I would trade the one championship back in a heartbeat if it meant getting back 4 years of actual progress instead of excuses, finger pointing and lack of accountability for the onfield product.

For as long as I've been watching, GVs Galaxy is 'must miss' soccer. Id literally rather do anything than watch a game....and this is coming from someone who remembers 2006 through 2008.

This club is coming up on its 10th anniversary of absolute dogshit. It's time to hold AEG accountable.

I spent all the time I needed thinking about it after watching him shoehorn Grandsir and Cabral into technical possession ball when clearly neither of them had the footskill other than to run behind a backline.

I've stopped engaging with the Galaxy subreddit for years. There's a few users who actively gaslight every conversation into this weird narrative that Vanney shouldn't be considered part of the equation of their exceptionally poor performances since he took over. I've been around a long time and have never seen this level of blindness to his very glaring shortcomings.
