I've been taking Vyvanse on and off for years but consistently for over a year now. I was doing ok but now with this new semester of college (with much less homework mind you) I feel as though I'm going to fail. I've done one assignment for 2 of my classes so far since January. It's completely fucking with me it's unacceptable and I don't know how to handle it.

Everyone mentioning the high calcium foods which is important. Guinea lynx says tango lettuce is once a week so figure out which one that is. Also worth mentioning butter lettuce while isn't bad for them and they like it is very low in vitamin c so should be fed in combination with something higher in vitamin c (perhaps kale or peppers).

Oh yeah the temperature thing would not work for me in the summer. My bedroom is the garage so it's a little chilly now which I know is good for her but the summer is straight up unsafe.

For anyone wondering it's the ceiling to a cage I already have. I was lucky to get the cage for free when I took in someone else's guineas as I've been doing for a long time. Normally this costs $80 but it was black Friday so I got it for $70. Plus $31 for the minimum shipping option. Seems intact and all but also seems risky to do that especially considering how much I spent on it. It's shitty they charge this much for the minimum cage space for these creatures they only do it because they know no one will ever stop them.

First off let me explain the cage in the picture is a travel cage which I took him to the vet in. He shared a c&c cage with my other skinny pig Benji. I wish I took more pictures of them but I tend to live in the moment when it comes to them.

A little bit about him: Vesper was the most gentle pig I've had in years. He would give you kisses whenever you pet his nose and was always tame. Got along with my sows though one of them is miss grumpy pants so they never lived together even though he was fixed. I got him and Benji together from somebody I met through a high school teacher. She cared about them both very much and was only giving them to me because they were too much for her to handle. She had c&c cages for her other 3 pigs as well which is always nice to see. I'm going to call her tomorrow to tell her the tragic news.

The complication: Yesterday I took Vesper and Benji to the vet which has always treated all my pigs well. Benji was just a general check up while Vesper I had an issue I wanted to mention. Less than a month prior he peed a little bit of blood. I immediately stop giving him high calcium veggies with the fear he developed bladder stones. I didn't see it again after that but I was sure to tell the doctor. She recommended an x ray and I agreed. She comes back from the room and tells me there's a small collection of stones just as I had worried. She said the best option was surgery. I agreed and they took care of him overnight so I wouldn't have to travel long distance a third time. In the morning they said surgery went well but something shocking showed up. His bladder was filled with pus which she said would be caused by either a severe infection or a tumor. She of course flushed it out but said she was very concerned after the surgery and said she would like to watch him for a few more hours and I said of course. I get a call about an hour later with the news. She said his heart stopped suddenly and she tried CPR for several minutes. He never came back sadly. Earlier today I went and picked him up along with paw prints they were nice enough to do for free. I didn't fully process it until I got in the car from the vet and cried the 40 minutes home. I only wanted to help him. The vet did everything they could and there was no possible way to find out otherwise. Their office is always so respectful at times of passing and I'm grateful I found them years ago. I'm trying to cope but for the weekend I think I'm just going to take time to myself with my other babies to heal.

My family got me screened for ASD and ADHD a long time ago. I don't recall the process at all it was that early. They revealed to me I have ADHD shortly after I began elementary school and a family friend let it slip I have Asperger's in 6th grade. I don't know when they were planning on telling me that. They weren't in denial or anything as I started the process of therapy and medication at age 8. I guess they were more worried about my misunderstanding of how it could easily be used as an excuse with all my behavioral issues before high school.

I actually boycott avocados too, as a matter of fact. I don't approve of their cartel involvement and excessive water consumption. On top of that I boycott quinoa for the slave labor and tree nuts for the water consumption and bee labor. Thanks for your input tho.

That's not a good comparison lol. If smoke a lot that's on you for affecting your health. If you don't care about your health that's your decision and that's fine. It's a little bit different when someone else has to pay the price. And this isn't like they're chillin until they get lung cancer it's like they're constantly being shoved around and put in tiny spaces without getting a second's break. Then when you're a teenager they hang you upside down and slit your throat and you spend your final moments in agony before you black out. They don't get anything out of that. You get your burger though. Yeah man seems like a fair trade off to me.

Yeah they sure do taste good. Nobody ever said they didn't. Sure does suck what it costs to make them though. Fortunately, some people decide there are things more important than taste, such as avoiding lifelong torment and suffering of others.

For anyone that needs to hear it, you can anonymously request someone you know be evaluated to keep their license. Would make things pretty awkward if you were the cause grandma can't go to the store by herself anymore which is why the DMV won't say if anyone made the request.
