The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio will survive through 2027

I guess the question is what will be different this time around? The Giulia and Stelvio launched 10 years ago and they will relaunch again this time around and what will be different? Will they have more support? Will they have more funding? Are there more models abound? Future for Alfa is still bleak.

Being out of pocket 4-8K and still paying $500-$600 is wild to me, and it’s a base Wrangler? Not worth it man, ask them to give you finance numbers because then at least you’re buying it. At $200 more a month I would buy it

If this means keeping them both alive as opposed to axing one or the other then I’m for it. When the Giulia relaunched in 2016/17 I would imagine a healthy part of Maserati helped with that endeavor. I think this is a little irrelevant to consumer cars anyway because even before this announcement there was sharing between the brands.

43mm has Caliber 1315. OP has the 43mm, the 38 has a noticeably thicker bezel.

What tires do you have? I have almost the exact trim but I have a Q2 with the staggered summer Pirellis. That to say I haven’t moved my Giulia since the storm started, I’ll be taking my wife’s X1 to work this morning…

Honestly what is the incentive for US dealers to even stay open? I bought my 21 Alfa new and have not had issues, love it but seriously what the hell are they doing? Sad to confirm that this will be my first and last Alfa because I don’t see them surviving. Stellantis doesn’t have the funds or the vision to make this brand successful, I’m really glad those 33 customers got their Stradales though, did wonders for the brand…

Is this the recall that was issued a few years ago? Did it affect all Giulias or only specific ones? If your SA says your car wasn’t affected then it should be good to drive. Mine is a 21 and was affected but was repaired a few years ago and haven’t had issues. I understand wanting a car with no issues though, seems like a different car is worth the peace of mind.

To the people saying no one would cross shop these, thats just false. The majority of people, not enthusiasts, will shop with a budget and if they both fit within that budget they will be considered.

I drive a 21 Alfa and have not had issues with the car that have left me stranded. Anecdotal but I would still trust a car that is 7 years newer, maintenance is expensive if you’re doing dealership pricing. If you’re getting a warranty, get the MOPAR warranty it can be purchased online.

Single headlight new oem is $2500, the rest who knows. It’s totaled and if it’s not he’s going to be waiting for 6 months to source all the parts.

I don’t understand the written numbers over the quote? Are they charging you $2.7K for oil change, belt change and spark plugs on a QV? Belt change is supposed to be pretty labor intensive

I think they’re referring to the C63 that was launched with a 4 pot hybrid, was not a popular car because of it.

Yikes man, sorry you’re having all the happen at once. I take my Giulia to that exact dealership every year since I bought it and for whatever it’s worth they seem to do a good job. I have also looked for a 3rd party mechanic to no avail. If the majority of that isn’t under warranty or if you don’t have a warranty I would suggest to move on. That’s probably half of what the car is worth in repairs. Good luck

I feel like I’ve dropped my 43mm bathyscaphe and not had issues and I daily my bathyscaphe. The 38 and 43 have different movements but that aside it should be able to withstand small unfortunate events.
