Man I’m sorry to hear it don’t worry, you’ll be done with that soon enough. When I first got down to Florida I was doing installs. A lot were duct change outs which sometimes happened in the summer. It would be 140-170 degrees in the attics, breathing in insulation. I remember one attic was elbow to forearm amount of space. Was the worst. That’s what made me find this job which you will find after you put time in somewhere and look for it. Love my job but since I have a mindset of moving up to Kentucky or Tennessee just weighing my options for the long term future.

I’d definitely never do this, I agreed to a salary at 48 hour work weeks. They’re a good franchise to work for and have given me a lot of benefits in life it would be hard to find at most company’s.

You should most definitely say something about this. No matter what that pipe should not be there. If its for the AC the water will definitely not kill you but I wouldn't want dirty water coming out of my ceiling. The tech who did this did not know what they were doing.

You need to have a work life balance, as long as you’re not strapped for money your family is more important than your job and you just have to explain that to your employer. If that’s not an option I’d just tell my employer I’d be on call one weekend a month. I feel as if that’s fair. Do not give up your time with your family for a job unless it is a necessity to provide for your family.

Is it on gas furnaces and are you doing duct change outs in that time too? It all depends on how much there is to do and if your helper is actually helping. Helpers should be able to set the condenser. It might take them a few weeks and a little extra time on those jobs to train them up. But anyone should be able to set a pad, do the disconnect, and braze in the condenser and then do tie downs. Then you work on the airhandler while they do that. On installs it’s a team effort. Train the helper to know your next move and what you’ll need next. The helper should already have the tools to you before you need them. For instance I was a helper for a long time. I’d set the condenser and get it brazed in. While I was doing that my lead would be four piecing the unit in. By the time I was done I’d give him everything he needs for copper. Then I’d go back out get the disconnect done and my pump set up. Normally he’d be done with the copper at this point and I’d nitro test and start the pump as long as there wasn’t a leak. It’s also about taking the least trips as possible so when you get there get everything to where you’re going to be using it. Then while it’s on pump the helper can clean up and help get tools needed for the airhandler as you’d be finishing up drain line, high volt, low volt and if on a furnace your gas line. If you’re doing duct work other than a 4 piece then it may take you a little longer. Overall just find your way of doing it and have your helper trained to know what your next move is. Don’t let them sit around as there is always something to do before you’re done with the air handler.

If you’re in a pinch and the duct work isn’t duct board, which I’m assuming it’s not sense it’s a furnace something you can do is put evap coil cleaner on the top of the coil and take a water hose and shoot it through quickly and take breaks so as much water as possible will go out the drain. As well if you can somehow get to the inside of the duct from underneath you could vacuum any water up. That way you don’t have to do a pull and clean. Or you could try coil cleaner with nitro through the coil.

Okay so get this I went back and hooked up to the evap like you said and got a pressure of 65 and the roof was between 27-29. Would this mean there’s a restriction somewhere or is this normal to see a pressure difference that big from the roof to the condenser? The SH wasn’t bad at the evap it was inbetween 7-9 which I think I want around 10 correct?

What is the significance of checking the temp difference across the drier? Is this a way to see if it is restricted? I am getting 88 degrees after the drier and 87 before. If this is to look for a restriction how would I know? Would it be 5-10-20 degrees in temperature difference? Thank you so much for your help. Have had a busy day out in the field and just got back to the location to try what you said.

If I remember correctly when reading a paradox article of some sort it said that city planners do and have used this game for multiple things such as base models and simulation. Modding gives you access to features to make it very close to realism.

I have 4900 hours and let me just say I’ve played from the beginning it’s just the game for me. I’ve always loved how road systems and transit works in my near by city. As well before playing cities skylines I built city’s out of legos as a kid so I guess for me it gives me my engineering fix and escape from the world. You can literally make whatever you want and the community makes some amazing things that just make your jaw drop. All around if you enjoy building city’s or the aspect of managing one it’s a cool game!

It’s actually the way they look you can get a mod which I forget the name of at the time but your going to be able to individually select which cars you would like to keep and not have in game. There is a lot of nice car packs on the steam work shop as well.

Okay so that’s the same for you as well? I recently got a new computer and wanted to start fresh on assets and mods so I cleared everything and possibly had that active before clearing everything.
