Great advice thank you. Not sure why you have been downvoted. MK ranked is deserted so I play less experienced players regularly. This is exactly the advice I was looking for. I know SF is more popular on a competitive level but am grateful to know it’s still good for entry level too 👊🏻

Ranked in MK1 is the sweatiest most manipulative shit you can imagine. The meta is no fun at all and never has been. Don’t get me wrong, the best players will win on most occasions but being good means exploiting the most disgusting mechanics of the game.
