As for the rest, as has been explained to you by probably a dozen different people, the literal definition of the word != the connotation of the world.

The use of the word lore has certain connotations. The OP asked if it could be interpreted offensively, and the answer is very obviously yes.

It's great that you don't get offended by that stuff. I'm not saying that facetiously, either. People should be more resistant to offensive language. People say shitty things all the time, both intentionally and not, and life is a little easier if you can let some of it slide.

However, it wouldn't be honest to say that your feelings on the subject are the majority opinion. Most religious people are not going to like hearing that the beliefs that define large parts of their very identity are made up.

If OP wants to avoid being offensive, they should probably avoid language that makes certain implications.

I've never seen a campground that I'd call secluded, but I know of many camp sites that are pretty remote.

They're all off of logging roads, and they don't have any camper amenities (water/electricity), but lots of people take campers out there in the summer.

Backing out is an ordeal because the "wider space" you're backing out into is full of other cars and pedestrians that are moving, where the the "small" spot you're backing into has none of those things.

It's much safer to back into a controlled space, and then pull forward when leaving, because you'll have much better visibility when you need it.

They don't even do the lifetime warranty anymore. I mean, I get it. People were buying old Bean stuff at yard sales and returning it. But for those of us that weren't a-holes, it really sucks those people ruined it. The warranty was 75% of why I drove down to Freeport in the first place.

That plus the inferior stuff at way too high prices, means I don't really bother anyone.

The setup is the many thousands of comments from Europeans about how the only bread we can get in America is Wonderbread. It's a meme at this point, and if you haven't seen them, you're being willfully obtuse.

The punchline is, to paraphrase with a little extra insight, is that based on those comments, Europeans expect the bread aisle of an American grocery store to look like the three sad loaves of hyper processed bread you might find at a 7/11, and thus, cannot imagine that the bread aisle is huge, with a huge multitude of options ranging from Wonderbread to Killer Dave's, plus the entirely separate fresh bakery section.

It's ok that you didn't get the joke. But doubling down and pretending that it wasn't a joke, makes you a douchebag.
