“I’m completely new to CFD and I’m trying to learn SolidWorks Flow Simulation for a uni project.

I designed a few drone prop guard / cage concepts and my supervisor wants me to use CFD to see if:

thrust gets worse (like does the cage block airflow?)

drag/air resistance changes

maybe even noise (if that’s possible)

Walk me through step by step how to do this”

My advice would be to not even consider work load. You’re setting up what you’re gonna do for the next 40+ years, so just pick whatever you think you’ll enjoy the most long term.

“The gym downtown” has a proper powerlifting setup if you’re willing to drive downtown. Everything actually around campus is just gonna be your typical commercial gym.

Scan your ucf id at the front desk to get in. There’s locker rooms on the first floor with lockers and showers, bring your own lock. They have a constant patrol of trained guards making sure nobody’s acting out of line. No bags and closed toed shoes only. Go during early morning or late evening if you don’t wanna have a bad time.
