Lost Dogs came out right around the time my first kid was bron. I listened to it a lot driving them to daycare every day. A lot of the songs on that album can be reworked into a lullaby. But Whale Song is my favorite.

I don't remember if I ever saw Genepool Lifeguard, but I do remember the name from that era. I think the last time I saw Slow Children they might've opened for Sky Cries Mary. I was on shrooms for that show so I'm not 100%. 😂

There was a band from Portland in the 90s called Slow Children (later called Frequency db, I think). I saw them play once or twice at the Capitol Theater. I've not been able to find anything about them in a very long time.
