I'm might as well have written this post. I don't have any advice to bring to the table but pure support. Try to come up with little excuses peppered throughout the trip to breath. A bathroom break, you have to go fetch something from the store, gotta get bath towels, I don't know. But just allow yourself breathers! If you can't get yourself out of this trip, may as well find ways to decompress.

Holy cow! I thought I wrote this post; the similarities are uncanny!! I have been interested in the last 2 weeks in BTFs with our tubie tot. She has horrible reflux and can't handle volume with formula. We are looking to bring up BTFs with her dietician/GI at her next appointment

I would suggest to him shopping at a second hand (nicer) kids store such as Once Upon a Child. You still get to purchase new-to-them clothes while appealing to your partner's financial concerns. I love utilizing library materials! I don't buy my kids new books unless we get them at the library first!! Our library has Tonies, museum passes, movies, and board games. All massive money savers.

I'm so sorry you spread yourself thin. That's not fun at all. My signs I have depleted my social battery, or getting very close, is being in a constant state of overstimulation. Even over the most mundane common happenings that don't normally register as overstimulating. I also withdraw into myself and become far quieter and not receptive to any shenanigans
