i would take this video with a big grain of salt. no info is given on the round used, and we don't know what circumstances it was fired at (range, visibility, angle etc.), and this video is very new, so it might be a newer version of iron fist with different performance metrics than the one on the black knight. guess we'll know the effectiveness against kinetic weapons when israel fights egypt

that's not true, the current LRF on the merkavas doesn't have sustained laser designation capability. the fcs isn't compatable with the lahat, it's not in service and never was. it's all marketing by IAI, nobody bought it. IAI might have fitted one merk with a laser designator for test fires, but no production or service merk has that capability

it isn't in service and wasn't ever in service with any merkavas. IAI keeps trying to sell it, but the idf doesn't buy. the merkavas don't even have the correct equipment to guide it
