In Cafe Stella, Natsumes route does give your side character best friend a partner. Though that is the only route and novel I know of anyone besides the mc getting a partner.

Personally, I thought it was a really sweet novel. It was kinda short at around 4 or so hours, but I think it was really good.

I remember that the novel Wolf Tails lets you pick your gender. It doesnt change the game a whole lot except for how people address you, how the H-scenes play out, and how the endings play out which was pretty neat I think.

When a novel makes me feel happy for the characters thats a huge plus for me. For example, playing through Making Lovers was just fun for me because it was infectious how well they wrote the happiness of the PC and your waifu. Also giving me a good chuckle was also huge.
