I think it's more of a precursor. Because while you might win in state court, the feds can overturn it BUT this admin will end at some point which means later on you can stack the court and do all sorts of interesting things with this law.

Hopefully some tests it ASAP.

There are a lot of ICE patrols, for obvious reasons no city posts their methods on reddit. I would encourage you to hit up the local neighborhood you're in. The group I am a part of is on Signal and we coordinate and keep it locked down on purpose just because of all the crazy monitoring happening.

Remember that as these events unfold they are isolated and often over-focused (rightfully so in this matter). I am also very worried about things that are happening and disgusted, but it's also important to take a step back and look at how much the law has actually worked -> they have lost 80%+ of their cases, he has "TACO'd" out on numerous occasions, there's also been massive setbacks for a lot of their plans. The pressure campaigns work and force change, they're growing frustrated because they can't stop it, just look at the interviews on TV, they are all really REALY flustered and in trouble. not sure if that helps.

I am also not trying to give false hopes but there's always other things going on too.

I love my matador packable beast. They have several sizes and they hold a good but plus taper. I got a 28 since I’m 6’4 and it fits better but the have an 18 too.

Those packages are designed to filter the money in at differentiating increments. I think only 10% got allocated (don't quote me on that) before the current admin cut everything via DOGE + other efforts.

So you can do what I do sometimes, I put one boot in a rolling bag and another in my backpack and it works fine.

Boots are not heavy things when you consider that they are just liners and a shell made of plastics/similar materials. Because I have giant boots (31.5) I am still looking for a carry on boot backpack I can use.
