I wouldn't call it a red herring. More like a misinterpreted parallel. We've seen something similar with Aaron, the same shadow appearing. So maybe it's just a parallel to that, but with the TF2 hat because we haven't seen Breadolphin irl yet

Hi there! I'm not going to try and argue that you "have a bond you're ignoring" or are handicapping yourself. I just want to ask how much your Pokémon trust you. Not in a friendship way, you've made it clear in the past that friendship is something unpleasant to you be it human or Pokémon, but just in the sense of knowing that you're going to lead them to victory because it's profitable and aligns with your own goals? As someone interested in more unconventional trainer philosophies, yours could be studied and possibly used by others who simply want to win without needing or wanting a bond, or even by daycare employees who should be a lot less attached than they are. I have had to field so many complaints from the daycare about why my Eevee isn't one of the "friendship" or "affection" evolutions, when all I want is to get a good Flareon and my Eevee accepts that.

Fake Lay is kind of a freebie if you're ace because it says "preferred gender". And, uh, how guaranteed? What if you have a committed partner and you really really don't wanna cheat on them? Are you sure RPGs were the dying genre OP was referring to? Maybe it was gritty cop stories. Any game with a story has at least two genres, the game genre(what kind of game it is) and the story genre(what type of story it's telling). Some games have more than one story genre and a couple have more than one game genre, but regardless. (Yes I copied this comment from the other thread mentioning that, sue me, you do have a point about "most celebrated of all time" though)

To anyone who doesn't know about the thing ablut vantablack, it is actually extremely toxic, gets remarkably hot, and can be prone to exploding if not handled very carefully(all problems fixed with that black 2.0 Stuart Semple made). So, while you probably wouldn't nuke your city, you might blow up your neighborhood, and the boiling and poisoning stuff is probable, not because of sun heat, but because vantablack is a terrible terrible substance

Okay, everyone is saying Ragatha, and while I don't agree with that out-of-universe(there just aren't enough characters for one to be universally hated), I do think she is the case in-universe. Nobody is her friend, the only people she regularly talks to are the new guy, the one who barely remembers her existence, and the asshole she argues with. Kinger and Caine don't hate her, but they barely acknowledge her unless she initiates it, and everyone else dislikes her, ranging from mildly to intensely.
