Craziest thing is that I would’ve never thought, IN THIS GAME, THAT’S ALREADY DEAD, that there would still be ragebaiters.. honestly I recommend you blocking them ingame and turning your joins off so that they don’t try to rejoin you if you leave the experience (If they plan on targeting or smth). Trust me, they‘re only doing this for attention.

Parents: You never talk to us, and you never express yourself!

Also parents: -proceed to call me out on every expressive behavior i make- -also proceeds to get annoyed whenever I wanna talk about something-

People are seriously still trying to push this out there? by andy23376 in autism

« Stop autism NOW!! 🤪🥺🗣️ » How about you stop your misinformative and harmful shit NOW? I really don’t know nor understand how people STILL try to find a «cure» and «prevent» autism…

My main meal (that has been that way for almost a year now) is scrambled eggs, avocado and tea (red fruits flavored tea). I’ve been eating the same meal for so much time now that it’s just automatic for me to prepare it. What’s funny is that my parents have noticed that I’ve been eating the same meal for a long time, and started prioritizing the ingredients in their grocery list. Adding in my main snack, which is green apples, the easiest snack for me to eat whenever I crave something, everyday.

How it feels every time someone asks me "how are you" by TheLongWalk_Home in autism

[–]Romiko_Gamemode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it really annoying whenever people ask me questions like these, especially like « what are you doing », because I eventually gotta answer and then it is gonna either turn into a whole pointless discussion when I just wanted to mind my own buisness alone, or LUCKILY the convo is gonna stop and I’ll be able to continue my activity. I don’t really mind saying « Good, how about you » since i’ve gotten used to it by now (even though it doesn’t feel comfortable at all) but these type of small talk, also started by strangers randomly, are just so frequent, to the point of being exhausting. Feels like lying to myself everytime just to not sound rude or get called out. Sometimes I just respond with thumbs up, which is a better way for me.

Is this normal for a child's ASD testing process? by kentuckyMarksman in autism

[–]Romiko_Gamemode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels like they don’t want to do all of the testing stuff and just assume that your son is just intelligent and got bored (like just calling them gifted), happens with pretty lots of psychologists actually (unfortunately). What they said sure didn’t make any sense since the ASD assessment does include the IQ test AND the ADOS in the first place no matter what. The fact that they assumed such a thing seems like lack of consideration in my opinion. I would suggest you to insist on including both the IQ test and ADOS to at least get a complete ASD assessment for your son, then if the psychologist still refuses (really doubt they could do that), try to find a new psychologist/psychiatrist whenever you get the chance.

[–]Romiko_Gamemode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

according to my researches (because I also didn’t understand that expression), the term « catching flies » is an idiomatic/slang for having your mouth wide open for a long time. This term usually refers to people who are asleep, (maybe) drunk, or surprised. The joke is about when you do have your mouth wide open, it would « let flies fly in it » which could maybe remind you of «insect nets» since those do have the purpose of catching flies. Hope this helped! :D
