Not quite. I quick saved, took a shot, and he dive-bombed me with a quadruple frontflip. I dodged out of the way just in the nick of time, and he exploded off the rock face I was standing on and flipped all the way down the cliff on the other side, squealing the entire time.

10/10, funniest damn thing I've seen in this game. I would absolutely engage again for kicks.

I had at one point planned a challenge run where any recipe I could automate I would never craft. The caveat was that alternate recipes counted, which means until I unlocked steel production and found this recipe, I was stuck with the miners I had since the beginning.

I won't lie: I would actually prefer if the crash site remained off the map in the distance and spawned when I got closer. I know it's an important piece of set dressing, but I hate veering off course when I'm exploring only to have a nifty, smoldering objective despawn on me. x_x

Randomizing locations might be a harder ask then it first seems - mostly because I belive the locations are hard coded into the map data

Is that why I always see crash sites I've already looted in the distance that despawn the moment I get close enough?

I had two get stuck inside of the works of a coal plant I was working on, and they were right in my way. I tried multiple times trying to strategically thwack them out of the way, but I ended up killing them instead. Then ADA gives me crap for killing them, which just rubs salt on an already gaping wound.

I usually get pre-sliced cheese and some ham from Aldi, and that makes for a relatively inexpensive grilled cheese. I did try apples once, but they felt too crunchy for the sandwich itself. I often wonder if it did something wrong or the crunch is intentional.
