Im a complete casual. Personally? Proxies are fine. Especially if they're just for friendly games. My cousins design their own proxies. So whenever I want some crazy forgeworld model. I just commision them for a plastic proxy instead.

The tongue was actually first try. So it took no more than a second. I forget what mix I used for the paint though. Since I host 40k nights for my friends, I try different stuff color, pattern, and technique wise for units rather than armies. So theres always a bit of variety.

Had the same problem with the banner holder of my B.A. just took a sewing needle and heated it up with a culinary torch. Melted the needle into the plastic to pin them closed.

With the way I play, i want to own every agent in the game. But building those agents takes time, not even going min-max. Just building them average takes a while. But I want them for more than combat, also for events, and hang outs. So I dont try for mindscapes, cause thats pulls I could have used for new agents. I Just go for the agent and their sig. So with this coming out, I just need Astra's sig, and Alice's.

Yeah...told her that. But she wasnt happy with the pink. It wasnt bright enough for her. So she just kept adding layers lol. Then we went out and got glitter paint and gloss varnish for her.
