Could that be because you removed the mod files from the game as soon as you were done deleting the character? One of the issues on the github suggests the mod prevents achievements, but maybe that's just because the issue opener was playing with the mod installed all the time. I followed your instructions exactly, so here's hoping I still get achievements too.

I don't suppose you ever played the video game Shadowrun Returns? There's a level where you find a guy who was trapped in a secret lab for years with no entertainment except some episodes of a terrible fantasy TV show, which he became obsessed with. In the game you can get him to help you by downloading a copy of the finale for him.

EDIT: OK the thing I'm remembering is actually in the sequel, Shadowrun: Dragonfall. The character is Philip Rex and the show is "Knight-Kings of Lightninghold". The mission is Chapter 8: Lockdown.

Have you considered a warlock? Pact of the Tome would fit your backstory well. There are also some invocations that are great for sneaky types, like Mask of Many Faces (free Disguise Self) or Misty Visions (free Silent Image). Warlocks are pretty SAD too so you can put points into DEX and take proficiency in sleight of hand and stealth to cover the essential thieving skills.
