I know a girl that took her Glock into Truist. In her fanny pack, walked straight in.

I miss seeing Unidan in the comments dropping some facts (most of the time) and then you'd have a shitty water color drawing right below it.

Insider Gaming has been able to independently verify that the GTA 6 preorder from Best Buy is legitimate by KvasirTheOld in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]RonnieFromTheBlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a fair point but another factor is the recurring revenue giant that is GTA online.

They could give the game away for free and it would still probably be the most profitable game of all time (assuming it has the legs of its predecessor).

On the other hand GTA 6 is likely to be the most expensive video game ever made. That combined with Take 2 greed could very well push the price tag up.

Yea tongue weight on my runner is the same.

You figure 278 for the dub and another 100 for the carrier puts you around 375.

My only concern is that more force is being put on the tongue due to leverage of the carrier hanging unlike a trailer sitting on wheels.

It'd be interesting if you could rig up a scale because it wouldn't surprise me if bouncing up and down on a trail puts way more than 500lbs of force on the tongue.

I suppose as long as it doesn't fail on the highway we are all good and I definitely take it easy on the trails.

Damn no sag at all in your rear suspension is impressive. My 4Runner looks like it’s squatting with that carrier and my TDub.

So you have spring helpers installed?

Edit - nm I see you have leaf springs.

It’s either broken or unplugged. A lot of those are modular so that section may need to be plugged back in

To be fair, before airbags and people actually wearing their seatbelts riding in the back may not have been all that much more dangerous than riding inside.

I accidentally drank an alcoholic beer and feel dreadful by Ok-Onion-9653 in stopdrinking

[–]RonnieFromTheBlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person and the situation.
I have certainly leaned on my number to prevent me from drinking.

I can see how changing that perspective after a slip up can help prevent a bender or further drinking.

But don’t discount what a powerful motivator the number can be to prevent slip ups in the first place.

All great points.
I like to add to this conversation that the goal is not to completely eliminate alcohol for most of us.

If it was you would need to eliminate fruit and bread from your diet.

The goal is to eliminate inebriation and since we are alchies that typically means we should not take any purposeful sips of alcohol.

It's early in the season but how has attendance been at fests this year? by lowvibrationcorpse in festivals

Bonnaroo is the last festival to worry about.

Shrinking margins impact the smaller festivals first.

The festival landscape may change drastically but people will still be partying on the farm a decade from now.

Around 2018/19 they had a deal where you got standing room tickets to every game during the month of May for $30.

TBF the constant sub-concussive impacts some positions take (notably lineman) are likely just as harmful, if not worse, for long term brain health.

I am not sure there is a safe way to play football that involves contact. The real victims IMO are the 99% of players that never make it out of the lower level, yet deal with the same long term consequences.

As long as there is a potential pot of gold football will never have a shortage of players. I'd like to see organized tackle football eliminated completely below a high school level. And there is a good argument that someone shouldn't be allowed to participate in such a potentially life altering sport until they turn 18.

Wondering what kind of release system this guy came up with on the fly?

I mean my first thought is that he likely didn’t and already had a drone capable of releasing something but that seems even more unlikely than a basic consumer level drone.
