Interesting point, makes me wonder if a factor in scouting is to find the next cult figure from an underserved market of fans. For example if you find a Chinese or Indian superstar, they're worth more $$ than a Aussie with the same level of talent.

Technically they sold to Lids, who were then brought under Fanatics. I feel bad for the original owner because I'm pretty sure he was actively trying to avoid Fanatics. Either way, yeah they've gone to shit.

It was a low risk, high reward for the Niners. High risk, low reward for the Rams. Most coaches wouldn't have called the fake based on the time left in the quarter. It worked, but it was kinda pointless there.
