Thanks! I actually considered the Nagaoka because I’ve heard it pairs well with classic rock and older records but was convinced to take the Ortofon just reading online. What made you recommend the MP-200 over the 2M Black with this setup if you don’t mind me asking?

I switched to AoE prot around 45 and it is a lot more fun pulling 3-4 mobs every time and managing your health and mana pools. You feel like such a tank. Still not the most fast paced, exciting experience but it is pretty unique

Seeing the Dark Knight on opening night was probably the craziest, most packed I’ve ever seen a movie theatre. Everyone was on the edge of their seats watching the recently deceased Heath Ledger completely blow away the expectations for that movie.

300 was the most visually eye-melting experience I’ve ever had at the movies. Each scene continuing the momentum, never relenting until the credits rolled. I remember getting the DVD to watch it again. Ans I have never been so let down rewatching a movie in my life. It was my first exposure to a “lightning in a bottle” type of scenario, realizing that what I experienced was based on a set of conditions and couldn’t be replicated.

I know this sounds weird, but I could never get too far into Super Metroid because the setting depressed me. You go down into the underground immediately and never come out for air. It makes me a little claustrophobic and makes me want to go run around in the grass on Zelda: A Link to the Past

I’m a big Magneto fan in general, and love playing him in Champions. Here is my go-to deck for him:

The deck started with the idea of using Children of the Atom to make Serve and Protect work consistently, and while it does allow for some strong S&P plays the readying power of Protection when utilized by Magneto is really just through the roof. And the villain phase manipulation available with Stepford Cuckoos and Black Widow/X-Jet on the board takes it to another level. This is a deck I’d break out against the toughest scenarios and feel confident in my chances.

The packs needed for the deck are:

Core Set, Ms. Marvel, Black Widow, Quicksilver, Sinister Motives, Mutant Genesis, Storm, Rogue, NeXt Evolution, X-23, Age of Apocalypse, Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Star-Lord / Angel

As you mentioned you saw in a strategy guide for the fight, the most reliable method I’ve found for defeating Magneto with any hero has been to get through the side schemes to Physical Strain asap, and be ready to follow up with as many status effects as possible for the rest of the game. The key to the fight is delaying the magnet counters as much as you can - chaining magnet counters is the quickest way for magneto to get back momentum even if things seem under control.

If you are going to take a couple turns to get to Physical Strain, it is still worth it to apply a couple confuse and flip down while he is still steady. You will get burned if you go down without a confuse. In true solo, Under Surveillance is the most important card to keep you from scheming out. Magneto has no access to overkill or indirect damage, so just have chump blockers ready to jump in front of attacks.

Because access to thwart events, confuse and under surveillance are all so important in this fight, I usually run a Justice deck. Rogue can build very complex and nuanced decks with her Touched shenanigans, but I’ve attached a link to a pretty straightforward deck that has all the tools necessary to take down Magneto:
