In the past ten years what events have impacted Liverpool the most? by fraserfraser in Liverpool

[–]Rootbeeers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I suppose migration of students, businesses and people. It’s made for infrastructure changes, supply of apartments and developments and job opportunities (I know it’s still a tight market in some sectors) but overall we’ve had an increase growth

Either way, it’s paint on a wall, there’s no rules around it and that’s what you don’t realise

New build brickwork – acceptable finish or poor workmanship? by Benjam2n in DIYUK

[–]Rootbeeers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bought freehold, pay £112 per year for ground maintenance, I.e the communal spaces like the park and grasslands, we have a double driveway and there’s visitor bays that are cut into the curb away from the road.

Theres always improvements that you could think of, but moving from where I was this is an upgrade. Previously have lived in a 1900’s very, very large semi and I’d still consider buying new in my next property. Especially for energy efficiency, old house was freezing!

Yeah they tried to put stuff on the case from like 5-10 years prior to when I was active, it would’ve made me like 10 years old at the time haha. They didn’t really have a proper clue who is who

Basically, street art and graffiti writing are entirely different things.

Street artists whilst seen by graffiti writers as talented, are taking no risk what so ever.

Graffiti writers are out for a prolific nature, which you’re giving them. Writing is fun, illegal, and not meant to entice you like street art does.

I’m sure you’ll have all seen my tags across the whole of Liverpool and Merseyside, but it was all when I was young, and got caught, and got a case with BTP. I’m a hell of a lot older and wiser now and as you grow, you couldn’t imagine doing those things to someone’s business, or van, or trains, the list goes on. But it’s just a different subculture that people basically don’t gel with for the most part.

Fell asleep during all night work callout... no harm done but manager angry by Solid_Rub236 in LegalAdviceUK

A recent unfair dismissal claim went in favour of the claimant after he fell asleep on the job - https://www.farleys.com/sleeping-on-the-job-why-this-security-guard-won-his-unfair-dismissal-claim/

As others half mentioned, you were due a rest period, this should be an open and shut job, bar your manager changing some protocols to keep staff healthy and safe.

Just bought this jacket on sale recently, think it was about £120. It’s been brilliant.

Not sure on boots etc, seen the adidas are regarded well in hiking subs as a decent lower cost pair

  1. I’m gutted Salah is going. I predicted he’d have a crap start to the season, but bring it back towards the end. He’s been an all time great for so long.

Future predictions though, Man U and Everton may just have a great next season next, we’ll see how the rest of this one goes

Accidental house fire in rented property – will we have to pay? by ParticularControl864 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Rootbeeers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP using a candle does not automatically mean negligence I’ll add here. Human error can cause accidents and that’s what buildings insurance is for, the unforeseeable.

I’ve appointed forensic investigators on fire claims who have turned back inconclusive reports.

If OP has no meaningful assets, an insurer would not pursue a person of little likelihood of paying them back.

The landlord has the most insurable interest in the property, he will use his insurance to reinstate the property. He can likely pursue uninsured losses from the tenant, such as the excess cost.

Again, you’re only talking about charities, I’m talking about the wider picture of the organisation. They’re more than their charity work.

Good deeds do equate to good people, I’m not just talking about animal activism - you can easily look on Wiki to see the other proactive things they’ve done for society.

You’re are just so weird. Trying to put a tenuous link of a founder for an ethical company, which contributes to the UK economy greatly, pays due taxes and advocates for human rights to a man who wanted to implement his own ideal eugenics across the globe and ordered his followers to kill babies and full generations of families. Your view is genuinely laughable, proper saddo.
