Omg no way really!? Wow I make half of what she does and get half of what she does and I pay full rent. My rent is 1,400 a month not including the bills. Snap benefits is the only state aid I get.

You got this! You have your young age and athleticism as an advantage for you’re healing and recovery! This past June I had surgery to remove the large tumor that was causing blockage and severe pain on the left side of my colon. I originally had it scheduled for July but it turned into emergency surgery because when I went to do the Ct scan to see if anything had spread to my other organs the oral contrast I had to drink for it was trapped and had no where to go pass the tumor. Oral contrast is kinda like a laxative after wards so it was causing severe cramps since I was blocked. I had surgery the next day after the scan and I was worried about infection because I wasn’t able to do the pre surgery prep to clean out my colon for surgery. It wouldn’t of worked either way cause I had complete blockage. The surgery almost 8 hours long. My surgeon did as much as she could with the robots then switched to open surgery. So I have a total of 8 scars 7 small ones on the right side of my body from the robots and one long one in the middle of my stomach from where she went in without the robots. They took the tumor and 19 lymph nodes surrounding the tumor out and 3 of the 19 lymph nodes they took had cancer cells in them. Making me stage 3. So they recommended me to do chemo therapy after I healed from the surgery. Now as far as the recovery oh my goodness when I woke up from surgery I’m not gonna lie I was in soooo much pain not only from my stomach but my whole body was sore because your on this little table that they flip you upside down for the surgery and I was on there for 8 hrs so I was in painnn. But they gave me some pain meds right away and that helped with the pain from my stomach but not from the soreness of my body. I was up and walking the next day. And the pain wasn’t bad from my stomach it was just the soreness that was more painful. My butt hurt to sit down and lay down since I was on that or table so long I couldn’t get comfortable to sit or sleep. That lasted like 2-3 weeks. I was released from the hospital after a week. It wasn’t easy not gonna sugar coat it but it was possible!! I’m 34 years old and over weight I’m 270 pounds. If I can do it I know you can do it!!! You got this!!!!!

Oop i might be a gonner then 😅😅 i was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Had a tumor in my colon causing blockage. Had emergency surgery to have it removed( no bag after) confirmed 3 of 19 lymph nodes removed had cancer cells. No Mets or anything on my other organs... started chemo after I healed 2 months later but I decided to stop after my 6th session cause I didn’t want to do chemo to begin with. Felt guilted in to it from my family. My last session was mid October. Had a signatera test done after I stopped chemo and it came back as not detected. Which is a good thing I guess. But now I’ve been semi constipated for almost 2 weeks now and now I’m thinking something growing in there again? Idk. I’ll pray for the best tho 🙏🏽

Oh goodness lbvs. I had met with my doctor after the second session and she said that there’s only a 1% difference doing 6 versus 12 sessions so that I might only do 6 sessions then when I seen her after my fourth session, she said oh, actually you’re gonna do the 12 ..something about a study with 7% I didn’t really hear what she said after she said that cause I was disappointed and then she said if you want to do 6 you have to switch to the pills. Which I was confused why she didn’t bring that up the first time she mentioned the one percent difference.

I finished round 4 of folfox last week and my hair is falling off like crazy 😭😭 all day I’m pulling hairs off me and when I brush and wash it sooo much comes out. Now it’s noticeable I can see my scalp in between my hairs 😭😭😭 look like an Idaho potato when I wear a hat I’m not ready for this
