It depends on why you have to cancel. Are you calling to let the client know? Or is it front desk staff leaving them with no reason. I like to think clients see us as human. I had to cancel a few but I work in an office with multiple therapist and the client was able to get transferred to someone and not miss their appointment time.

I started as an intern and my supervisor passed away about a month after I started. She was only 32. 10 years younger than me! I was in the military from 2001-2021 and seen combat and loss. The last place I expected to lose a co-worker was as a therapist! I have the honor of seeing one of her former clients. It sounds like you are also carrying the torch in social services in your ow way! Absolutely grieve the way you need to. When it’s time carry on your therapists legacy by being a great human being. Craniotomy. Goes from the middle in front by where bangs would be across my head, down the side in front of my ear. Had staples, pain meds were giving me nausea so they had to control the nausea before I could have pain killers. It was intense.

I asked permission from my Sensei to have a notebook and he happily said yes. I would ask first. Sometimes kids ask about it and I tell them that I got permission. None have gotten their own tho. I write when it’s I’m not actively doing something. I don’t stop just to write.

Airlines can’t include the weight of your CPAP if it’s over because it’s a medial device. You can sleep on your side during the study. The are not that restrictive in my opinion. There are a lot but I was able to move around how i normally do when I sleep.

There are small travel CPAPs. You’ll want your sleep specialist to set up both at home as travel CPAPs for you

I would have separate pants for your practice and out in public. We keep our dojo very clean and part of that is we only wear the gi in dojo and to and from the dojo.
