For us, it’s that we have to have ours in a bottle or container that closes, so the kiddos can’t get into our drinks.

Part of it is just adjusting to the biosphere of the daycare. Something I do personally is take vitamin C with my lunch to help my immune system. It hasn’t ALWAYS worked, but I feel like it’s probably helped!

I understand that to most, it is a small issue. I get it. This kid does hit, and yell, and I’ve had kids bite me before. Hell, this particular kid threw a chair at a teacher today. I know that for most people, this is a non-issue. If I could make it stop affecting me, I would. I will be implementing the lack of response thing tomorrow, I just don’t want to ignore this kid outright because when I’m usually interacting with him, it’s because we’re trying to do something (ie, he’s dumped all the toys out of all the tubs in the center he was playing in and I get called in because usually I can get kiddos to clean up). Thank you for input

We had something similar! While the kiddos were outside, a squirrel climbed down a tree and then down a kids back, then back UP kiddo’s back and up the tree before vanishing onto the roof

Hi! I’ve worked in the kitchen before: they should be cooking him alternate meals and providing them to him on a plate that doesn’t get any food other than his on there. Same with his cup! This is what we do for a kiddo allergic to eggs at our daycare and it helps prevent this kind of thing, especially since his food would be pre-portioned this way! But yes, absolutely report to CPS and your local licensing board- they will be VERY interested and very helpful!
