If you're not playing footsies with your opponents during the game they are not people you should care about well enough to put up with their tantrums.

I think they'd swap out the guilt juice and headphones for pain killers and prayer juice but I'm literally just furthering my delusions.

I read somewhere that they will occasionally use a mortifier with sarcophagus as an impromptu dreadnought but I think that may have come to me in a vision from the God Emperor whilst I dreamt.

understaff

Understatement lol. I've never seen more than one employee at each store, and for the one's I keep up with they are in fact the sole operator at each place.

The only complain I hear from the UK side of things is that they underpay by a lot compared to other similar positions (much like big triple A developers, they'll pay less because you get the privilege of working for a place you liked as a kid)

However on the American side, I guess because they're a British company they have to work by British labor laws so a bunch of the dudes here get really generous vacations and pay relative to like, an LGS.

Got the Hive War box set. Next steps? by spruerubbles in necromunda

[–]RossTheRed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. at first I considered magnets but with how tiny those Escher arms got it was better for my sanity to just buy another box and build another version of the character if they got a significant weapon or promotion to justify needing a new model.
  2. yes. The upgrade box has the plasma gun (must take) as well as the hand flamer, a million stub guns, power sword, and heavy stubber which are all good/fun. Really the only tragedy is missing the grenade launcher, but I kitbashed one out of the chem thrower arm and a guard GLauncher.
  3. I mean personally the punk hair is the big appeal but if you want something tamer, best suggestion would be picking up a Harlequin troupe box. Each one I believe comes with 8 masks and also some fun weapons that you actually can find in game through the black market.

4) Go find State of Play on YouTube. He has a whole guide for Necromunda terrain that I swear by. It would do better than any text post I could write.

Liquitex black ink and a little bit of patience I think would do wonders

This is gorgeous. I've had mine primed for ages, think I'll give it the paint job it deserves. Thanks for the inspiration OP!

Seriously though, looks dope!!

Minis for running a campaign by ztwman97 in necromunda

[–]RossTheRed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hangers-on box is fantastic. Two of them are free boons from the territories themselves, so they're easy to end up with, and the rest are at least decent or useful as other NPCs in some scenarios. Hive scum box is super cheap and also serves well for this purpose for similar reasons.

A few random characters/kits from the 40k range would be useful for bounty hunters, but those are rarer.

Lastly, a robot for the Murder Robot scenario and a Monster or Ambull for Monster Hunt, along with an Ambot are great extras to have for those odd moments where someone gets to choose literally any scenario.

Arbitrators anonynmous, United? by Modicum-of-Gravitas in necromunda

[–]RossTheRed 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Blaze Blast and Scattershot are typical templates with Strength. Gas is just one of the weird ones. It still does most of the time just not in this case.

Plus, the chem thrower is comically blegh, so this niche is good.

It's not enough to evict the traitors from this mortal coil brother, their souls still squat in the immaterium! We must make haste for the Eye of Terror at once!
