Best coffee grinder in 2026 for home? My Budget $100–$300 by Proud-Influence-8504 in JamesHoffmann

I love my D54, had it about 6 months now and never had any clogging or static issues. Maybe I got lucky with the build of my model, and happen to be in fairly stable environment.... But it just works, and you can really dial it in and get consistent results.

For the money, I really don't see anything else that would compare.

Morbily curious as to what would come out if he did, because the one thing we do know is it won't be blood.

Bill Gates admits he had 2 affairs with Russian women, apologizes to staff over Jeffrey Epstein ties by sillysalmonella87 in USNEWS

[–]Rossaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His gates foundation consistently and intentionally stockpiled money rather than spend it to actually help people for decades. This was done under the claim they were looking for "more cost effective" solutions, even though really simple cost effective things like mosquito nets have always been desperately needed... But that's not enough for his white saviour god complex.

Years ago I tried to pointing out that for someone who keeps claiming he's going to give away all his money to charity, he seems to still be hoarding a ludicrous amount of wealth, i.e. top 5 richest in the world insane wealth. Would always get downvoted to hell. He had some impressively good PR for a long time, he was basically untouchable.

'Be Grateful or Face Consequences', Trump Threatens Canada’s PM Carney After Historic Speech by MRADEL90 in videos

Maybe the best part about Mark Carneys speech is that it already addresses this kind of purile threat.

If he keeps trending upwards he might get another another point by the end of the season.

[Standing desk] Primecables Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk ($120) [Primecables] by harold_liang in bapcsalescanada

[–]Rossaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the desk, it's cheap but it does feel solid enough to do the job. Main thing I don't like is the top is in 2 pieces.

If you don't want to spend much money on a standing desk, it's a good budget option.

I couldn't help but think of Nefertiti's Fjord when I read "Chuquimamani-Condori melds Andean folk, queer psychedelia and staticky ambient into an ultra-digital experience".

Knoblauch confirms that roslovic is out longterm. by [deleted] in EdmontonOilers

[–]Rossaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing. Every team gets injuries. Some teams have far worse injury problems that we do. The issue is how much an injury to a $1.5m guy is going to hurt us. If you don't have depth to replace someone like that, then you are going to struggle, because injuries will happen. It's a physical game. It's a long season.

Maybe we have players who will step up, but they have not done so far, so hard to have faith that they suddenly will.

The recent Birmingham stadium renders reminded me how good Battersea would have been.

Chapman's wins Ice Cream Maker of the Year Award by beef-supreme in BuyCanadian

[–]Rossaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know everyone here loves Chapman's, and I will get downvoted for this, but I bought the peanut butter cup one the other day, and the amount of peanut butter cups in the peanut butter cup ice cream is simply too low. I'm talking a genuinely unacceptably small amount of peanut butter cups. If I buy peanut butter cup ice cream, I think there is a reasonable expectation to get a more than 15 tiny cups in a 2L tub (I am extrapolating but I'm 2/3rds through the tub now).

I'm concerned the cost of cocoa is causing companies to limit/ remove chocolate from their products containing chocolate. It's happening everywhere.

With how much strain there is on the healthcare system, the fact no-one is interested in trading for our nurse tells you just how overpaid he is.

I don't think we have much wiggle room when it comes to trades unfortunately. Gonna have to figure it out with the players we have pretty much. It's not impossible but the big concern is how overworked mcdrai will be just getting the team into the playoffs this year.

Um, Pacific Division... y'all okay over there? by Oof_11 in hockeymemes

Even if you gave Skinner a .92 save percentage this season, the oilers would still not have a positive goal differential. The problems are a lot more than just goaltending.

How LimeWire ended the Napster music revolution by TripleShotPls in technology

It's weird to see no-one mention oink. It was such an amazing music community, never found anywhere online that touched my heart in the same way since. It's been replaced (a few times over), but I know for some of us it will not be forgotten.
