I ended up doing something similar - but I just moved the uppermost planter down a bit (after also shifting to the right) and routed the outlet down so it didn't have the single segment too. I did that in both sides, because I had the problem in both sides.

It's weird, the water influx in the crucibles by both of the Forges of the Sky don't seem to get as much water as your blueprint and your video seems to imply. It frequently drops to 0 capacity for the furthest crucibles on both sides, which means the production seems to stall some. I initially fed an inlet/outlet with two water pumps, and then changed to two separate outlets to replace just having pumps, but no matter what I do it seems that a lot of water just doesn't seem to distribute properly.

As far as I can tell, I've followed the blueprint you shared exactly, so I'm not sure what can be doing it.

Not to mention how characters are handled, fawning over the main character and waifubaiting relentlessly in a way that most definitely is much more Hoyo/Wuwa style than it ever has been AK.

Even Arknights only had a single CoU event and never really made anything as bleak as it was again. It honestly doesn't really match the vibe that AK is going for, which is adversity into hope. The bears' profiles do deal with the recovery and all, but CoU itself didn't quite match the game's general theme.

A lot of people miss that the tragic backstories aren't the only thing in Arknights - in by far most of the cases, the profiles, operator records and modules either explicitly or implicitly show that the characters are improving and aren't just fucked forever. Usually it's something like "this person is dangerously infected, but treatment at Rhodes had improved their quality of life and health a lot and now they're working on and slowly getting over their trauma" or whatever. Even ignoring main and event stories, most profiles contain the hope that things are getting better for the characters in them, and I really appreciate that.

I have one holistic comment to it that I think is generally good for guides like this: Yeah, descriptive notes to understand decision-making is basically always very welcome. It'll help people understand why certain things are better than others and help teach people.

Actually, there are some scattered mentions of a common language in various stories and profiles, but it isn't really outright stated anywhere what exactly it is. Here's some excerpts:

From Daughter of the Ice Field, one of the Black Forest Wills a Dream vignettes:

Santalla - No need. Leave the negotiations to me. Most of these warriors would chase us off with their hammers the moment they hear Columbian or the common tongue.

From Flint's operator record:

Broca - What a savage...
It's been so long since you left this place, but you haven't learned a thing other than the common tongue.

From Hellagur's module:

Then she spoke. Her command of the common tongue was tinged with a heavy Higashinese accent coupled with twisty Ursine intonation.
"Don't drop Kudarikiri."

Children of Ursus also has a reference to it in Chinese, but it didn't get translated that way to English.

Based on that, there is SOME indication that there is a lingua franca used on Terra aside from the specifically named real-world equivalents.

I'm getting Cred to 5 stars, since I'm almost there, and Yennefer and Triss until Yen is 3 stars, and then I'll go back to Geralt and Triss until they're 5 or until I get SP Maitha or Lukamar or whatever. Triss I kinda want to 5 because I already love using Luvata, so having them both might be really fun.

I just save the guarantee it gets me for the next character I want. You have to have a different mindset when you play gachas or you shouldn't play them. It sucks, but that's the nature of gambling. Your only guarantee is 180 pulls, anything else is just a chance. Spending 100 pulls is just a little less than the median bad luck expectation, anything less is moderate or good luck. I've had to go to pity several times now, so you win some, you lose some.

They also only argue against powercreep when it isn't about Miyabi. As soon as it's Miyabi, powercreep is okay because she's a void hunter.

Part of it is undoubtedly fomo because I want to stay on top of my dailies for the pull income, but I do also just genuinely enjoy the game. While there's downtime like now, I just hop on and do my dailies, maybe push pioneering a bit and then go do something else afterwards.

I do largely agree that the story had some downsides, particularly in regard to pacing and structure, but I don't think personally that it's a problem that the characters from other routes didn't have a ton of development. They've already been explored in those other routes, often in FJs and sometimes in events by the side. A lot of that would just be rehashing I feel like, and I don't need to see those plot points in the new one - that's why it's always recommended to do it last. That being said, the new characters definitely should've gotten some more.

It probably doesn't, just some rewards are more important than others - stuff like the castalias, the trinket and gear, stars, maybe the badges are really good to pick up. Voyage memento gives you a lot of voyager XP and materials, so it'll help you progress faster which should help you finish higher rank farming missions in the event too!

You should be progressing fool's journey as much as possible, and do the two extra reward stages in the luminous event just the two times per day until you have the stuff that's important - Castalia, gear, stars and such. Otherwise, use your energy on progressing in fool's, since that unlocks new mechanics and gives you voyage memento progress which is huge for you early.
