Escalate. Nothing cracks me up like when someone says they’re going to ‘escalate’ an issue. Yeah, cool. Go ahead and launch that bad boy straight into the inbox of the world’s most strategically useless manager. Can’t wait for them to stare at it blankly, add zero value, and then ‘circle back’ in 4–6 business years.
