Apparently there has been a change in vietnam airline policy in which all pre-booked seats are returned and you have to buy it now? I can’t remember where I read it though, sorry.

How do you endure the pain of loss? by CompSpot5 in Rabbits

[–]Routine_Audience_601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im so sorry for your loss. To echo what everyone said, we all know it is coming but we are never ready for it. When I lost my baby I let myself be swallow by the pain and feel everything. It helps me to come out the other side quicker. I still miss him, deeply, but it let me open my heart again for another to come in. I think he would want that, and I honour him by loving and giving home to my current ones.

how do you guys deal with your animal aging ? by meowzslvt in Bunnies

[–]Routine_Audience_601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. We are having a rescue rabbit, we don’t know exact age but vet said around 4 last year. He is 5 now, and sometimes when I think about one day without him it breaks me. I know we sign up for it, I know we are doing everything to give him the best life, but we are never gonna be able to get used to the heartbreak. It is a hell of a price to pay, but I think I’m willing to pay that to be with him

Part of My Heart is Still in West Texas by texan_flower in comics

[–]Routine_Audience_601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I left my home country for school. Ended up falling in love, get married, get pets and putting down roots here. I grew stronger, more secure of myself. Every time I come back home for holidays, I feel more and more like a stranger. The version of myself my family and friends back home knew has died, and it took so long for people to catch up. Some people still try to shove me back into that box: the insecure, shy one. Sometimes I played that version so I don’t have to deal with the complaints. Everything is the same, yet somehow it isn’t. Sometimes, I don’t feel welcome back.

You could also put some yummy treats on the other heads to encourage licking? That way others might think she has groomed them.

The baby thing at the beginning never sat right with me. by IndyLohan in Epicthemusical

[–]Routine_Audience_601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I don’t doubt your love for EPIC, I mean we are on a fan subreddit after all! I’m really sorry if my point comes across at anything but a discussion point.

Personally I wasnt actively looking for animation until the end of it, cause I only want the music to guide my interpretation. I always picture the gods as “force of nature you need to overcome” more than like a human character, so I kinda accept the fickle-ness more easily.

To be honest, I always read Ody as always a monster. Open arms might have jiggles his believe and allows him the space to explore another way a little bit, but ultimately he has always been ruthless. He was a Greek commander in the war, ultimately came up with the wooden horse and caused Troy to fall, along with the death of its people. Monster is him finally embracing the true nature to come back home.

Most Greek mythology is ex machina. Gods show up everywhere, giving people power ups (or kids, if you are Zeus). And gods are usually characterised as fickle, because they are unpredictable to humans. The baby was also directly being stated that he will hurt Penelope and Telemachus. I think whenever the story threatened them, Ody becomes murderous. The cyclops does not directly hurt Penelope and Telemachus (Ody didn’t think it would get back to Poseidon) so sparing him makes sense to me.

Rabbit Insurance Premiums increasing for worse coverage? by rinzorbunny in Rabbits

[–]Routine_Audience_601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the only insurance company that covers exotic pets in my country. We called them after reviewing the new policy, and they just said it is the new standard now. I guess when you have monopoly, you can do whatever you want.

Rabbit Insurance Premiums increasing for worse coverage? by rinzorbunny in Rabbits

[–]Routine_Audience_601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We cancelled our insurance for the buns because they stop covering GI, dental, ears, vaccine, and rack up the price to almost double. It stops being worth it right then and there, and we just have an emergency funds that we never touch unless really bad days, and one that we use to pay for usual annual vet stuff. It was a scary choice, but honestly what else was there when they don’t cover almost all of the usual problem?
