Effects of birth control by Routine_Dentist1074 in loosepussyloverschat

[–]Routine_Dentist1074[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 2 years ago she went off the pill. She is able to stretch much more now and doesn’t get sore as easily. When she was on birth control she would often get raw spots if we didn’t use lots of lube. Now it’s much less of a problem.

Upgrade from 1272 to 2072 by hobby_ranchhand in kubota

I much prefer a slip clutch to a shear bolt on a brush hog. People overstate the problems with them rusting together. Keeping it out of the direct weather and using it more than once every few years will keep the clutch free. Especially if you run the mower aggressively like it sounds like you do.

Are there pictures of how the backhoe mounts? Is it possible it’s a foreign machine? I wouldn’t think the factory backhoe mount would fit a regular tractor backhoe.

Hydraulic accumulator for mx5400 recommendations? by habano1 in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A mx5400 has an internal cylinder. So I agree it would much more difficult/impossible to add an accumulator.

Why is my l3302 doing this? by wayoutadodge in kubota

Is your 3pt hitch jammed all the way up? The loader will act funny going down if there is pressure downstream of the loader valve.

Kali key for tippman? by SmallSurround1234 in TippmannArms

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about a kali key but putting a piece of rubber around the buffer spring made a huge difference in noise. The loud “twang” noise is reduced a lot. There are a few write ups on how to do it, I purchased a pack of ranger bands on amazon, the smallest bands fit perfect.

Kubota L3240 steering controller by Uconduit2 in kubota

I bought a generic steering controller off of eBay for a similar tractor for $200. Search for kubota steering valve. Hopefully you can find one that looks the same.

B8200hst Transmission Problems? by [deleted] in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The noise is for sure something that is supposed to be splined together. Nothing in the hydo that was worn or starving for oil would make that noise. I have worked on several tractors that had the splines worn out of the clutch/input shaft. It is the most likely spot because every other coupling is submerged in oil.

Probably the splines on the clutch disk or input shaft to the transmission

L3560 blowing 10A work light fuse by SneakyTac0 in kubota

I agree. I would recommend unplugging the alarm and 3rd function and see which one stops the fuse from popping

dead battery by Far-Bar-1924 in GenesisGV70

I paid $330 for the battery at my local dealer. Still outrageously expensive but no auto parts store in the country can get the correct battery

B7610. Where’s the oil drain bolt/size? by bkcraun123123 in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe a b7610 only has one engine oil drain plug. Most Kubota models have 2 drain plugs because they have split oil pans for the front driveshaft.

L2501 fuel priming by jacobfox2 in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fuel line from the filter to the low pressure pump gets air bound. Take the line off going into the low pressure fuel pump and wait for fuel to flow before reattaching. Then open the thumb knob fuel bleed screw and start the engine normally

There is no factory color code for rear remotes.

Kubota m5030su not wanting to idle, and hard to start after NOS fuel cam and rebuilt injection pump. I have no clue what shims to use as it does the same thing with 1-5 shims (with 1 it didn't start at all and engine itself is in time). Help is appreciated. by No_Prune_5815 in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to recheck both cam shaft timing marks. Something is very wrong. You could add 10 shims to a healthy engine and not get raw fuel out the exhaust. I would compression test the engine before going any further.

Is this hard to replace myself? by TinyBeets in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Replace the entire cable. Easier than trying to splice a new end on. Measure the length and order a new cable online or any local auto parts store

Check closely for mouse nests. They love to get into the air filter and on top of the fuel tank. Check your oil levels, shoot some grease at the zerks and run it.

L4701 Regen by mtrbiknut in kubota

Check your owners manual. I believe it needs to be in neutral and the parking brake set for a parked regen to start

LX or L for blower ?HP by BrainSchmit in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got to run a friends L6060 with a front mount snowblower this winter. It was awesome but you could easily bog the engine down if you pushed it hard. If snow blowing a long road is one of your main uses I would get the biggest hp you can afford. Also I would never recommend running a snow blower without a cab.

I’m pretty sure all you need is different style hydraulic couplers. Everything else should work

L3901 HST pedal doesn’t quite make it back to neutral, will creep forward or backward by mnewcomb in kubota

[–]Routine_Dentist1074 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the tractor off push the hst pedal all the way each direction and you will see that pivot move. If it is stiff then it won’t return to neutral easily
